Fun Read

I'm not sure I've ever been disappointed with Julie Garwood's books. I've listened to this one more than once and enjoyed it both times. It has its suspense element, bad guys you love to hate, a little romance and a happy ending. What more can you ask for? I'd definitely recommend this one. Hope this helps.

Romance, suspense, and good characters

Nice read by Garwood! Im def going to read what other books are in this series! I’m in live with suspense and romance right now and this fit the bill. I wish there was a little more editing as the characters thought the same things through the whole book and the ending was quick to wrap up the good stuff, however, it’s a good book and kept my interest.

Disappointed

As a huge Garwood fan, I bought this book on the day of issue. It lacks her usual quick-witted repartee between the love interests that is so appealing and fun to read. While I've gotten used to her H usual macho boasts as FBI agents, it was truly weird to have these boasts from the h, computer code writer Allison. I am by no means an expert on computer security, but even I know the implausibility of the boasts and the flaws in the foundation of this plot. I feel as if Garwood's heart and soul was simply not in this book and so, am disappointed. This is especially true since I liked Liam & Allison as characters and would have enjoyed a better "story" for them!

AMAZING!!!

loved the story, but I have to say the narrator made the book perfect!! I lobed her accents for each character! Liam was my favorite! 5 stars, and the storyline was interesting too. only think I kept doing was railing at Allison for being so nice to everyone who treated her badly!!

The wait was worth it. Julie Garwood books have always brought a smile in my hectic Days. Hope and will look for more.

Another Good read

I liked the story. The sex part was steamy enough. But I really didn’t like his accent. It didn’t enhance the story in any way. It was almost annoying. I normally like all of JG’s books. So I can’t give it a lower grade. Any book by Her is at the lowest a 4 star.

This was a nice story. not the best but an entertaining listen. Alison is a little naive but you get over it
