After our introduction to Maddie and Sam in the first book of the series, I was hoping for more intense heat and flames regarding Sam and Maddie's reunion. The story and narration was great, just not as intense as I had hoped. I'm glad I read it and will most likely buy the next book in the series if there is one.

Hot and Sweet

Sam is not the type of guy to take no for an answer. He wants Maddie and will do anything to get back in her good graces after being caught with another woman years ago. After realizing Sam had a good reason for breaking her heart, Maddie feel into his arms again. I think Maddie should have made him work harder but once you find that one love, everything else is forgotten. Sam is heavy handed in his marriage demand and after realizing his mistake, he finally comes correct with Maddie and makes me fall in love with his character. A perfect continuation to the Billionaire series.

Mady lockout at Sam with anger and resentment. She tried so hard to forget him, but she loved him.

Narrator is great

Whoever said the narrator's voice was dry and not good must have been talking about a different book because I didn't hear any of that. She did a great job, and I really enjoyed the story.

Seriously lacking a good plot

I am really finding it difficult to believe that this is J. S. Scott's novel. This novel is seriously lacking imagination. The narrator's tone is a downright misfit for the characters, adding to the frustration of the listener. Don't waste your money or credit on this one. Get it for free If you can.

Awesome read and narration

I enjoyed this story. I'm reading Max's story next to find out if baby makes three.
