He systematically broke down all my defenses until I reached out and clung to him like he was the only lifeline I had. It wasn't until I got to know him that I realized that Jax was so much more than the playboy he was portrayed to be in the gossip columns. He was patient, he didn't judge, and he had a wicked sense of humor. Even stranger, he understood what I was going through, even when I didn't understand it myself.

great book I really enjoyed reading this book. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Loved Harlow & Jax together

First, I love the narrators that were picked for this book! I’ve yet to come across a story written by J S Scott that I don’t like and that is still holding true with Jax and Harlow! She’s so broken and trying to hide it from everyone but Jax cared enough to dig deeper and see the truth of how bad it really was. In the course of helping her heal, Harlow also learned that there is sometimes more that what the eye can see if you just look at someone from a different perspective. I always love a story where banter leads to chemistry and a HEA.

Great easy listen!

I have enjoyed all the Billionaire’s Obsession books and this one was just as good. Jax is one of the Montgomery brothers and Harlow’s boss. This book is best read/listened to after finishing Billionaire Undercover:Hudson in order to get the full picture in Harlow. This is a low angst, medium steam, quick listen with the HEA I always want from a romance novel. Elizabeth Powers and Jacob Morgan are great and make this a very satisfying listen.

Another Winner!!!

I read this story as an ARC but then also received the Audible format for review. It was interesting to compare the two experiences. I found the story itself to be compelling and well written with great depth of characters. The Audible version of the story didn't disappoint. The storyline I first enjoyed in reading was not lost in the 'telling' of the story. I found the narrator's voices to truly capture my perception of the chapter's personalities and not distract from the story. Thoroughly enjoyed the book .

ADDICTIVE.

Heartache just got a whole lot sweeter. Scott keeps emotions on full alert with two people that can't help but steal your heart. Billionaire Unexpected has many twists before it gets to the main event. Jax and Harlow are a perfect fit in need of some fine tuning. She's a fierce competitor that's misplaced her will to fight. He's a determined warrior intent on reawakening the fighter in her. The end result. A battle of hearts that has addictive written all over it.

Love it book, love the storyline, liked Elizabeth Powers but did not like Jacob Morgan reading

ANOTHER GREAT READ!

I love this series! J.S. Scott gives us the second Montgomery brother's story. This story is full of drama and romance. The narration is excellent. The author did an excellent job with the character builds and plot. I look forward to reading more books in this series! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Simmering Romance

I enjoyed this book and often listen to audio book versions later so I can relive the story. Great narration. I wanted to keep walking so I could hear more each day.

Excellent story

I love the characters in this book. It was a fun story to listen too. I would recommend other books in this series by JS Scott.

Story of the second survivor and second Montgomery brother

This story had better narration than the previous story but less plot and the female victim was not as interesting as her friend in the previous book. Brother Jax though was more charming. A slow boil romance with good narration. A light story good as a sale book.
