Publisher's Summary

Do you want to understand the main principles of naturopathy just listening to a dialogue, instead of reading a boring essay?

Can you believe you can find the thinking of 50 great scientists in a single book?

Are you ready for a different way to look at cancer and other degenerative pathologies?

In this book Dr. Giorgio Bogoni, Italian author and experiencer in nutritional healing, will guide you through an accurate novel-essay, full of useful information, that easily deals with a topic that is usually explained throughout complex medical papers.

The patient, Mario, asks about his illness exactly like you would do: he wants to know why he got sick and how to restore his health.

The hygienist doctor, George, explains everything in the easiest way, giving answers and advices.

This book was written in 2012 and is still up to date, because it refers to the main principles of naturopathy.

Now, in 2019, you can enjoy the English version. For the first time!

Listening to this dialogue you’ll easily learn:

  • how the medical system works;
  • why doctors think the way they think;
  • what’s the first step you have to take in the self-healing process;
  • what’s the best “healing oriented mindset”;
  • why your conscious mind has to deal with the unconscious one;
  • what energy psychologies are and how they can help you;
  • what’s a placebo and why you have to know about it;
  • the difference between cancer and tumors;
  • the causes of cancer;
  • pros and cons of surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy;
  • all secret oncologic therapies developed in the last century, not available to people;
  • an effective healing protocol for all degenerative illnesses: how to balance the body, the mind and the spirit;
  • the healthiest diet and the role of physical exercise;
  • how and why you have to change your belief system;
  • what meditation and prayer can do for you

Even if you’re not a doctor and you’re not used to hearing a medical essay, you can learn a lot just by listening to this dialogue.

Suitable but not up-to-date info/data

The format of this book is a refreshing change, however the performance is awful (especially by the "patient" who speaks like a robot) which does diminish from the overall audible experience. That said, the macro-level of info shared in this publication is vital to better understanding how the human body works - as well as the dim views on how the pharmaceutical, medical, nutritional supplements and food industries work.

I've read enough and have been counseled enough by naturopathic medical experts to take issue with some of the hard line views expressed by Dr. Bogoni, and suspect that because the info in this book is 7+ years old already, that there is far fresher data and research that may impact or mitigate some of the doctor's advice and viewpoints.

Felt empty

I have done Integrative Medicine Fellowship from University of Arizona Medical school. I have done all 7 modules of IFM.org.
I am well versed and was looking to get a pearl or two to talk publicly. I agree in the U.S. we are the worst country in the world for we wait to practice disease management. We do very little to teach wellness by physical activity, nutrition, and mind/body. The title suggested there would be some true nutrition recommendation. It came out empty. I suggest if looking for a practioner to search via Integrative Medicine or go to IFM.org website. FYI Don Abrams MD(who coined the term AIDS) wrote a book titled Integrative Oncology. The material here was old and sparse.

Wonderful book

To the point. Provides an affirmation for the problem After 6 doctors said they couldn't find anything wrong with me, even though I was in serious pain, I began to look elsewhere. I love this book. Look up the symptom, see the cause, use the affirmation. I can take it with me in my purse. This book is a great resource.

We all need to read this book.

This book is an incredible resource for anyone who is preparing for the inevitable. As a daughter who had little to no idea of how to navigate both the progression of dementia and then death of my father, this book would have been an invaluable road map. It addresses all aspects pertaining to the often gradual and painful march towards the end. This includes not simply getting your financial affairs in order, it addresses how to navigate illness, getting loved ones’ wishes and desires for end of life, as well as valuable information on navigating the medical system.

Every family should own this book

I loved this book! While it’s probably not meant to be read cover to cover, I did. I am at the time of life where I need to buckle down and take care of my paperwork. We haven’t updated our wills since having children and this book demystifies all of the things that all responsible people need to take care of while they’re still healthy.

Helpful and inspiring read

Choosing to Die does a wonderful job and articulating a choice that few people realize they have. Having watched my grandmother suffer with 10 years of dementia, this book was particularly meaningful for me. I appreciated the mix of personal accounts and factual information.

An eye-opening book with options we never knew

I was given a copy of this book by a friend. This little book is packed with useful information about dying mindfully and with dignity. Some of the best information seems to be tucked into the appendix at the end. Medical Resources, Legal Resources, How to Help a Grieving Friend and even a checklist of what you'll need to help someone die with dignity at home.

Interesting read with useful details

A fascinating journey with sufficient details to be useful. There is a fair amount of New Age material in it to which I did not relate. But the human story was quite interesting and comforting. The appendix contains resources that are also pertinent and useful. At an age in which mortality is an issue, there are good thoughts, useful thoughts in this book and I recommend it for those interested.
