Personal challenges and victories of the author make this book very incouraging. Great practical action steps.

I always like to know strategies of how ppl overcame challenges and struggles of life. It was also helpful to learn practical steps towards clear direction and personal success in life. One thing I didn't like is John's belief that everything in the Universe goes the way it should. I guess it comes from Buddhism teaching. It contradicts the Bible.

it's a workbook.

The book on its own is good and it includes great information, and it seems to be short but there's a lot of activities. I really liked them.

Great if it's your first self development book

The book it's great simplifying complex self growth ideas. but those ideas aren't deeply explored. This is why I fully recommend as your first o even thirth self development book but if you want some more specific ideas or techniques you can't find them here. It's definitely an enjoyable reading.
