This book is wild

I feel like I just stepped a wild rollercoaster ride with so many twists and turns it left my head spinning.

Sarah Baker a 28 year old teacher seems to have the perfect life when she suddenly disappears. However, as we unravel the events of her disappearance we find that everything is not as it seems.

Between the intricate story telling and the fantastic narration I was riveted by this story. I will 💯 be recommending this book.

Epic plot twist!

Loved the evolution of this story, the deep depravity that some people will go to, to protect their own hide…TA wrote an amazing story and Angelina narrating it was even better!

Riveting and Suspenseful!! I need more!!

Let me start by saying that I read the physical copy of this book last summer and now, this is my 2nd time listening to the audio since it released this year. T.A.Cruz is a true storyteller and breathes so much life and depth into his characters w/ his writing. His ability to access those raw, gritty and flawed emotions that truly make a writer, their story and their characters stand out is uncanny.

Take Cruz’s writing skills and add in the voice acting powerhouse that is Angelina Rocca, and you have absolute gold!! I hope to see these 2 pair up again for future projects, and I cannot wait to see what Cruz’s next novel has in store for us!!

Fantastic twisty plot, captivating narration!

I purchased the audiobook on audible and it is seriously one of the best audiobooks I've listened to!

This book is a suspense thriller about a teacher named Sarah Baker who goes missing, a teenage girl who's found murdered, and the small-town sheriff trying to solve both mysteries before his time runs out.

This author fit so many plot twists into one book! Every time I thought I might have everything figured out, another twist would happen and show me how wrong I was. I was a huge fan of the show Longmire, and Sheriff Mills and deputy Holloway reminded me of Longmire and Moretti in that show.

During the investigations, Sheriff Mills has a heart attack which leaves him sidelined for longer than he'd like, and with a grim prognosis for the time he has left. The timeline of the story jumps back and forth between before and after Sarah went missing, and we get to see how miserable Sarah's life was leading up to her disappearance. Her marriage was on the verge of ending, her husband was having an affair, but she couldn't afford to divorce him and live on just her teacher's salary.

The narrator of this book did an AMAZING job! Her voice held so much sorrow during the narrative parts of the story that it was simply captivating from beginning to end. Her voice for Sheriff Mills was this deep, gravelly growl that perfectly suited his character. She was without a doubt the best choice for this book.

I recommend this audiobook to anyone who likes twisty mystery suspense thrillers!

The beginning is the most perfectly slow burn that captures you in. This book captivated me from the first chapter. Of course Angelina is very talented and brought Cruz’s story to life. But the writing… Amazing job at jumping between timelines. So well written!!! That ending though!!!! 👀👀

Hey, hi….Have YOU seen Sarah Baker?!

I love a good thriller and Have You Seen Sarah Baker? Did not disappoint. This book is just written well. I was engaged with the characters and was kept on my toes. I did have an inkling about the plot twists but there were definitely parts I was surprised at finding out. Did a solitary tear fall at the end? Yes, yes it did. This book did not end how I expected it to and I love that. Rock my world.

I listened to the audiobook which is narrated by the super talented Angelina Rocca. Chefs kiss. I could listen to Angelina read the ingredients from the back of a shampoo bottle and still rate it 5 stars but give her a great book and we are in God tier territory. 5/5
