Didn’t see the end coming

Love the narrator in this audiobook and the story was good as well. The ending surprised me and that doesn’t happen often.

Creepy and suspenseful!

The brilliance of this book lies in it's slow, creepy, suspenseful pacing. For a while, I really thought everything was just in the main character's head and nothing was actually happening. The twist comes like a gigantic bomb of surprise. Great writing and great narration that really brought the story to life. For a nice slow burn mystery with a lot of creep factor, read this. You'll love it!

Live in the moment

Spell binding story! 5yrs ago Tessa was the only survivor of a brutal attack on herself and 3 friends. Now she is forced to face her past…she signs a tell-all book deal that is contingent on her spending a month at the beach house…the site of the murders. When she starts hearing noises, Tessa begins to wonder if she is just paranoid or is a killer determined to finish the job he started all those years before? Definitely an unputdownable book!

Intense and suspenseful

This book kept me on the edge of my seat. I was a little worried I got a horror book at first, but turns out it was just super suspenseful. I got sucked in fast and really enjoyed this one.

Pretty Good

Kept my interest; kept you guessing but overall easy to predict some things. Still decent read

Entertaining…but

Was definitely entertaining but felt like something was missing. Would make a great movie. Would have like to see more of the thriller side of this story and less of the description of the surroundings. Could have used more dialogue between the characters instead of the internal dialogue that was constantly going on with the main character.

Narrator is great

The first half was really good, but veered into unbelievable at the halfway mark. Unrealistic reactions and unbelievable situations. Ending was a huge disappointment and was drug out far too long.

Wow

I wasn’t sure about this one at first but it left me on the edge of my seat and holding my breath most of the book. I didn’t see the end coming!
