Great murder mystery

I really enjoyed the plot twists and story. This was a great murder mystery story

A Sleeper at First

At first I had my doubts about this one. But I let it go and buckled into listening. Glad I did. I think though I would have enjoyed it more had I picked up the book and read it myself.

Intrigued until the very end

I liked this one a lot. The only drawback I found was that, as with all audiobooks, I didn’t always register some details. So with this one, I never understood the chapter titles. I don’t think it kept me from following and I still really enjoyed it

Favorite author/ narrator combo

I was super excited to delve into another mystery with my favorite author/narrator, but I just didn’t find this book as good as the author’s others. I’m still looking forward to her next release.

great story with skilled narration

Great narration. The story was interesting and characters nicely developed. Although the ending was a bit predictable the story held enough momentum that it allowed you to wonder when a twist might be coming.

Definitely mysterious the whole time

Original plot. The bad guys reasons weren’t new but this was told in a new way. Confusing about the rewind and fast forward chapter titles but didn’t seem to interfere with understanding the plot.

Rewind is repetitive!

I enjoyed the book but found it a bit too slow at times. I didn’t mind the multiple story perspectives or back-and-forth from different characters and the narrator is excellent, however I wanted the book to get to the point and stop repeating so much. The same story could’ve been told in half the time.

Thrilled to discover this author!

This is my second “listen” from author Catherine Ryan Howard. Love the writing style, the descriptions, and the settings.
Especially enjoy hearing the Irish accents from the narrator!

I absolutely LOVE Catherine Ryan Howard’s books! She is an AMAZING writer who keeps you guessing until the very end! I LOVE THAT! :-D Even if I figure something out early on it doesn’t change the fact that I JUST CANT PUT IT DOWN! :) She’s SO VERY GOOD at holding your attention throughout the book from beginning to end…With each book of hers I literally have had to MAKE myself pause it when ONLY NECESSARY lol THANK YOU CATHERINE RYAN HOWARD FOR ANOTHER GREAT READ! :)
