Childhood ‘enemies’ to lovers

I enjoyed the story. The background of both characters were more summarized as the characters were getting ready to head back to their hometown for the wedding (Matt’s sister, Dex’s ex & best friend). Because there was so much of the back story that was laid out, it wasn’t out of pace when the chemistry and the relationship between Matt and Dex evolved. It had been a long time coming.
Low angst, low steam, sweet short listen.

Guy Veryzer’s narration didn’t work for me. I feel like his voice did not fit the characters of story. I stuck through it because it was a short listen and I enjoy the story. But if it had been a longer book, I’d probably read the ebook instead.

Highly enjoyable

As a lover of MM romance I felt that this was a great book. Each man has a background that helped develop who they became as men. This book will give you all the feels. Highly recommended to others. I did receive this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

Omg this audio book was absolutely positively amazing. I would highly recommend this audio book.

Cute short story

I received this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

This story is just under two hours long. I kind of enjoyed the story but what I didn't enjoy was the narration. The narrator sounds like an older gentleman so when he narrated Dexter and Matthews parts it sounded as though the two main characters were in their forties retailing their love story.

The two main characters meet their freshman year in high school and they are only about 7 years out of graduating whenthe romance picks up. So, when I started listening to this I didn't know how far in the future we were going to get.

As I mentioned before, I enjoyed this story and I enjoyed the growth that each character had in finding who they truly are. It is a short story so we didn't get to see them living their lives before they got together but I do want to see what happens next with these two.

dreams do come true

Matthew's dad had me seeing red for his narrow minded biases. especially about his own flesh and blood! Grrr... Dad sure got a surprise wake up about his daughter's ex! lol!!! Don't judge a book by it's cover dad!!! After years if pain and heartbreak, it was good to see comfort and healing for Matthew and Dex. They deserved a hea. I look forward to more of this great couple. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job.

Love or hate/Love Hate

Mathew wants to hate Dexter because he is everything his father wants him to be. Dexter was the perfect son, the perfect boyfriend for his sister.
After Mathew left for college, he thought he left his old life and Dexter behind...but his sister told him a secret that might change his life...

very well written story about enemies to lover/ hate to love....(lol). wish it was a little bit longer...but zip enjoyed it immensely.

Enemies to Lovers

Hate to Love You is Book 1 in the Epic Love series. This is a wonderful short story about Dexter and Matthew. Both are back in town for Matthew's sister's wedding. Though they aren't excited to see each other at first, they soon realize they have feelings other than dislike for each other. Dex and Matthew really are sweet together.
Narrator Guy Veryzer does a wonderful job.

Just no.

Cliche, rediculous predictable plot, and not even on a fun guilty pleasure way.
not a fan of the narrator either.
I only finished the book because I paid for it, and to see how many plot reaches and leaps I could find. might make for a good drinking game though.

Hate To Love You

This is a short and sweet story. Dexter and Matthew grew up together in high school, each one hiding a secret that neither thought would ever see the light of day. Yet a wedding brings the two together and secrets are revealed. Now that Dexter and Matthew are grown men that see the world and themselves differently than they did as kids the two take a chance and grab for the happiness that they thought they never would have. Sorry to say this book missed its mark for me. I did not connect with the characters and did not feel the heat between the two. The plot is pretty textbook and did not pull me in. I also had a hard time with the cadence and tone that narrator Guy Veryzer uses for this book.

Disappointing in Almost Every Way

The descriptive text of 'Hate to Love' You by Carrie Davis makes this audiobook sound as if the story has potential.

Sadly Guy Veryzer's ‘sing-song’ narration was so grating that I chose not to finish even this relatively short recording.

If you’re looking for an enjoyable, quick listen this audiobook is not the one for you.
