I don’t usually write reviews...

But I’m writing one this time to explain why I only gave the performance 4 stars. Zachary Webber is 5 stars, as usual, but Samantha Cook’s voice didn’t work for me at all and was very distracting. I’m sorry to sound so harsh but the narrator can make or break a story and I had a hard time listening when it was her turn.

Hard Sell

Loved it! I couldn't wait to get back to my book! Loved the story of Sabrina and Matt.

High powered couple

This is a good book about two people who are successful in life, but leery of commitment. Matt and Sabrina have crazy chemistry, but both have crappy parents who make commitment look foolish. I like their lovers-to-enemies-to-fake-partners-to-lovers story.

The secondary characters are good as well, and add to the story without dragging it out. Laura and Ian are around, and I see Kennedy’s story building!

The readers do a good job, Samantha is a bit stilted at times, but does male voices well. I recommend this book!

Sexy

Sexy, sweet, and crazy. Loved this book as much as the first one I listened to, Hot Asset, now on to the next in this cute and witty romance series 😁

good stuff

I like this series of characters and the story is well written. The only catch for me was the female narration was so slow! Thankfully it's an easy fix on audible by increasing the speed.

Book 2

Lauren Layne does a good job of continuing the story line she started in the first book of this series. She answers some of the questions she hints at in the beginning of the 21 Wall Street series. Zachary Webber and Samantha Cook manage six main voices and other random voices with out confusing you as to who is speaking. These two enhance any work they narrate.

Breathtakingly good

I absolutely loved this book. I’m already looking for Kate. I’m also going back to listen to Ian. Writer is brilliant! Performance was amazing!

Emotional, Feisty & Funny

Matt & Sabrina are competitive, to say the least. Something always going on, never a dull moment.

Aaaawww snarky sweet

Loved this. Character development slow yet steadily engaging. I so enjoy long term, evolutionary romances, smoldering heat, and a tribe of lovingly meddling friends. Zachery Webber does an excellent job, as usual, narrating with natural and totally relatable emotion. Looking forward to the final installment of the Wall Street friends’ trilogy. Thank you, Lauren Layne!

Hard Sell just as good as book 1

Love the Wall Street friends to lovers dynamic. All three books run into each other starting with Laura and Nc and ending with Kate and Kingston.
