Happy Habits is a compendium of habits or practices for the mind and body that support optimal health. Practicing habits like early rising, cold water exposure, journaling, self-compassion, forest-bathing, and connecting with others have all helped to support my own physical and mental health, especially over the last couple of years of the pandemic. I provide evidence from my own experience of the benefits of incorporating these, what I call "happy habits", into my daily life. In addition, I provide scientific evidence supporting their benefits, including citations for listeners to investigate further.
