Story
Evan Bryant wasn't your typical hero. But he was mine. Broken by the worlds' standards, he was still the strongest boy I would ever know. My best friend. The boy I'd given everything to. My heart, my body, and the promise of forever. The day I'd needed him most, he walked away. He left me shattered and questioning the love I'd thought we'd shared.

Story
Sometimes you meet people who are out of this world, so you make them a part of yours. A one-night stand born from vengeance in a foreign land. An explosive chemistry neither of us could deny. We signed a contract on the back of a Boar’s Head Pub napkin that said if we ever met again, we would drop everything and be together. Eight years and thousands of miles later, he’s here. In New York. And he’s America’s music obsession.

My path takes me far from home and paints me as the black sheep. At odds with my father, I'm determined to build my own empire. I have rules, but Lennix Hunter is the exception to every one of them. From the moment we meet, something sparks between us. But my family stole from hers, and my father is the man she hates most. I lied to have her and will do anything to keep her. Story
You’ve heard of these groups - the secretive ones that only the crème de la crème are invited into, the ones outsiders speculate about for centuries - I’m the second in my family invited to attend, but to them, I’m fresh meat. New blood. New money, too. They think they’ll elbow past me, that I’m here for their amusement, for them to walk all over, they’ll find out soon enough that I’m not.

Story
Griffin Quinn was my childhood pen pal, the British boy who couldn’t have been more different from me. Over the years, through hundreds of letters, we became best friends, sharing our deepest, darkest secrets and forming a connection I never thought could break. Until one day it did. Then, out of the blue, a new letter arrived. A scathing one - one with eight years of pent-up anger. I had no choice but to finally come clean as to why I stopped writing. Griffin forgave me, and somehow we were able to rekindle our childhood connection.

This is the final book in the two-book duet. Book one must be heard first. One man thinks I'm a saint. The other thinks I'm a sinner. One man lives in the public eye. The other lurks in the shadows. One man wants to use me for his own needs. The other wants to use me for his revenge. One man will get what's coming to him. The other will get what he deserves. They told me good girls get rewarded. But I've been bad. Very bad. I made a deal with the Devil...and I liked it.

Beautiful, penniless American girl meets handsome, wealthy Scotsman. Sounds like the beginning of a fairy-tale romance? It's not. This story begins with a contract. And an exchange of money. Stephen Hastings is a control freak. All I saw were his clear blue eyes, tight butt, and ripped torso. I gladly handed him my V-card that night, 10 years ago. I was so stupid. I swore I'd never be that stupid again...Emmy Barton works for a dry cleaner? She says she hates me, but when we fight, it's all heat and lust. I won't leave her this way. It was supposed to be a typical work trip. New York to San Francisco, window seat, exit row. Maybe a mimosa. Then, seat 14B sat down. When our eyes met, the flight became anything but routine. I could pinpoint the moments in my life where everything changed forever. Meeting Jared on that flight was first. Falling in love with him was second. Discovering the secrets he kept was third. Putting my broken self back together and forgetting what I learned would be difficult. Forgiving Jared would be impossible.

We come from two different worlds. I’m from the streets. She might as well live in an ivory tower. I made my living with my fists. I doubt she could even throw a punch. Our paths never should have crossed. We never should have met. That doesn’t change the facts. I would sell my soul to taste those red lips. Fight the devil himself to hear her laugh. Burn in hell to have a single night. Scarlett Priest shouldn’t even know men like me exist, but sometimes temptation is stronger than will. If this is how I go down, it’ll be worth every second of the fall.

Bryce bests Dash match after match, disappointed her rugged and handsome opponent turns out to be an underwhelming adversary. Secrets are exposed. Truths defeat lies. Bryce is poised to win this battle in a landslide.

Sizzle sizzle BOOM
The sparks between the two main characters in Devney Perry’s newest book is off the charts. I was invested in their story from the first chapter.
Bryce is a big city hot shot reporter looking for a career story in the small town she now calls home.
Dash is the former president of the now defunct Tin Gypsy motorcycle club and owner of a thriving automobile repair shop.
Bryce is certain there’s something that needs to be told about Dash and his former club. Her hunch seems correct when a murder occurs and the prime suspect is Dash’s father and the former Prez...
I felt like this book had everything I love- hot alpha heroes, smart strong women and a story that keeps me engaged from word one until the final page.
Highly recommended to anyone interested in an enemies to lovers story.
The narration was excellent as usual from Ava Erickson and Teddy Hamilton

Great Love Story
I was pleasantly surprised by this book. It's very different than anything I've read by Devney and she did such a great job balancing the rugged with the sensitive caring man Dash turned out to be. I wasn't expecting to like this book as much as I did. Great read.

Rushed. Unresolved plot. Unrealistic. Unimpressed
This book had a LOT of potential. First off let me say, the narration was on-point. Audible did a great job producing this one... with what they had. the issues are all with the story itself.
The good points: Characters were developed well in the beginning. Relationship between the main characters was engaging. But there are some MAJOR ISSUES with this story line.
The bad points:
A) It was ridiculously predictable. I'm not usually one who can figure out things before they happen but with this book, I kept knowing. There were zero surprises. That was a total let down.
B) The BIGGEST issue is that the main plot line is unresolved. I actually had to google it to see if maybe it was a 1 liner I'd missed. NOPE! The WHOLE BOOK is centered around a plot that's left completely unresolved at the end. Not only that, but it's COMPLETELY IGNORED. WHAT.THE.HECK?!?! That's called doing your fans dirty and not bothering to do your job and complete the story. It's dirty because it's trying to force fans to get your next book to find out what happens instead of delivering a complete, satisfying story and letting your work stand on it's own merit. Just Dirty. Until now, I enjoyed each of Devney Perry's stories. But this one is like she ran into a publishing deadline and wrote a quick ending without addressing the plot she spent the whole book working on. Which brings me to the next and final issue:
C) Character development was out the window at the end. MC suddenly goes from fearful and unavailable to in love and marry me. It was completely implausible. There was no explanation and no believability.
Book was essentially rushed and incomplete. I bought this before it was released on the basis of Devney Perry's other work. I wont be making that mistake again. And I can almost guarantee I'm going to google the plot summary of the next book so I get some resolution and save myself the time amd money of buying another book only to be left hanging. I dont know about you, but I dont like being manipulated to buy another story.

oh so very good!!!!
This book is absolutely perfect. This is a small town enemies to lovers story told in the most perfect way. Bryce and Dash have amazing chemistry that you can feel from their first interaction. There is suspense, witty banter, and some sexy times. Dash is the ex president of an MC Club that went legit, and Bryce is a reporter searching for a big story. They clash over and over again along the way, but the spark between them becomes explosive. I will be recommending this book to all of my book loving friends!! Teddy Hamilton and Ava Erickson are amazing!!!!

Love the banter
This is technically a spin off from Perry's Jamison Valley series which is amazing. Bryce the h interviewed Sabrina after her ordeal (The Outpost) and Dash the H is Nick's brother (The Clover Chapel).
You know that back and forth sarcastic/sassy flirting? That is Bryce and Dash's forte.
Things I loved: the Montana setting, the suspense, the motorcycle club loyalties and conflicts, the cover, the plot twists, and the promise of more from the characters of Clifton Forge.
As I was thinking about this book and the relationship between Dash and Bryce - I concluded that some romance books have the relationship as the primary focus and plot twists (or lack thereof) as the secondary focus + vice versa. IMO the relationship is secondary in Gypsy King. That’s not a bad thing - it’s just an personal observation/opinion.

I was super excited about this book and although it was a good book, good story and characters it fell after one that knocked my socks off (which is not the books fault) however it had me hoping for a repeat of that tingling feeling book high that was still in my blood from the one I just finished yesterday. Fall in love with the Gypsy King
Holy freaking amazeballs, is there anything this woman can’t do? Everything she turns her writing to, is gold, and this book continues her winning streak.
I adore the narrators on this one, they really bring the story and characters to life.
Gypsy King is Book one in Devney’s new Tin Gypsy Series, revolving around a decommissioned motorcycle club in a small town in Montana. The club was always causing trouble for the area and its residents, so for it to suddenly close up and its members become well behaved citizens, something doesn’t sit right with new to town reporter, Bryce. She’s used to big stories in the city she’s come from, and the apparent closure of the Tin Gypsies motorcycle club has her journalist senses tingling. On her quest for the story, she is thrown into the path of the former president of the club, Kingston ‘Dash’ Slater, and Dash likes what he sees when Bryce is in front of him, but she’s not interested in the club’s Prince, only what he can tell her for her story.
Bryce has a one track mind when it comes to her story, but agrees to a deal with Dash to work together to uncover the truth, sparks fly between the two, but in the end their connection is bigger than what’s really going on in their small town.
Bryce is a kick butt heroine, she knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go after it, she has sass and strength and doesn’t fall for the lines of playboy Dash, she knows how to play the game and guarantees to win.
Dash is a cocky, hot headed biker, with smooth talk for days, a killer smile and beneath it all, is a caring, protective, loveable man. He fits the biker profile, but breaks the mold when it comes to having morals, doing the right thing is key, and keeping his loved ones out of harms way is priority.
When these two work together, it’s explosive and the heat between them is off the charts. When secrets are revealed, Dash and Bryce stick together, but with someone after revenge, danger is all around them.
This story gave me all the feels, and I’m happy to say, I didn’t shed one tear, though knowing who’s book is coming next, I’m sure Devney is saving it all up to kill me with Isaiah’s book. This is an action packed rollercoaster ride, which keeps you in suspense the whole way through. I can’t recommend it enough, an outstanding start to what is sure to be another phenomenal series. Now I’m off to beg for book 2 to be released earlier, because I just can’t wait for it after the set up in Gypsy King.

Yes! But what?
Okay this book had pretty much everything I was looking for, a bad ass guy that makes you swoon, a heroine that makes you fist pump and a romance that makes you want to explode from the first kiss.
...But...
I have so many questions that went unanswered...
***little spoiler***
But who was the guy?
Did his dad go to jail?
Why was Genevieve so weird towards the end?
What’s Isaiahs story?
Who was Lee?
Why was his dad so reluctant to just tell the truth about everything?
There’s so many more questions I have that were left unanswered it annoys me, as much as I actually ended up loving this book, I just hope there’s a second to clear up some of these questions.
