Many times, our greatest urge to control our children or force them into compliance comes from outside the relationship and from our own past experiences as children or outside influences. In entering the world of children, I have created more well-being for myself and begun to understand my own experience as a child in new ways. I am learning to nurture myself in ways I was not nurtured in childhood through nurturing my children now.

Grow Together provides a framework for a new kind of awareness that operates as you interact in your normal daily life. The aim of Grow Together is not parenting tricks or tools to get children to behave without punishment or rewards. I am not afraid of my children and growing and changing as they age, because I now have the awareness and knowledge to meet them wherever they are and grow and change with them.
