An important contribution.

This book is a powerful message to everyone involved in transforming people or society. Neither is good enough on it’s own. We must do both and somatic change is the way.

Foundational reading for healing (y)our sh*t

Very well written from a place of deep experience in trauma work internally and externally. Approachable, honest, implementable.

Must read for the 21st century!

I am so glad that this book was recommended to me. I am impressed wit the personal power of this book. Having survived the AIDS pandemic and George Floyd being murdered in my back yard, being trauma informed is critical. I loved the stories in this book and the author’s use of the word embodiment. This is a NEED as we move forward - for our children and if we want to continue to have a healthy planet. We, as Adults need to do the hard work, stop, look, and listen to ourselves and others. Feeling our way into the future is the only way to awaken and start to love one another. This was the best read in 2022! Close second was “The Four Pivots”! I love the theory and more importantly the practical application and amount of questions to process and go deeper!!! Thank you Staci for putting this into the world. It is a beautiful embodiment of your soul. I see you and appreciate you!
