The questions change as people move through their lives. In their 20s, people wonder where to begin. In their 30s, people wonder if they are headed in the right direction. In their 40s, they may begin to wonder if this is all there is. And in their 50s and beyond, they wonder what should happen in the next chapter. Loved this book!
I really enjoyed listening to this book!
As a young professional interior designer building my business and growing my clientele basis, I took tons of notes as to how I can create even better experiences and expectations for my clients. Coming from a different design background than my co-workers, I always struggled with not fitting into their typical sales mold. After reflecting on how I do things very differently I realized how this is actually my greatest asset. Grounded gave me the much needed confidence to learn, un-learn and re-learn what works for me or how to reach a goal. I know these key teachings will continue to project my career forward.
As my clientele builds and projects come in faster than I can work on them, navigating work/life balance I’m finding is also a challenge. Nancy’s advice reminds me that my time spent alway from work is what really defines me. Truly living my best life will bring success to all areas of my being.
I would definitely recommend this book to anyone wanting to live with intention and/or build their career.
