a nice, short version of many Greek myths

There’s some good basic info here but the narration sounds like an AI drone and it’s very grating on the ears. I wonder what it would have been like in the hands of a voiceover professional. The authors spin really focuses on the misogyny of the Greek gods. She is intent, for example, on saying that Theseus totally used Ariadne for her help getting out of the labyrinth and sex and then deserted her. But she leaves out that Theseus was threatened by Dionysus to leave her or he would kill his whole ship. Much of the book is “see how bad these men were?” And “why aren’t there more women heros”.

Disappointing

Get better Greek mythology on wiki. It’s like a white woman giving the briefest stories mostly revolved around how bad men are. Absolute trash.
