Awesome space opera

Characters all grew, and nicely. It’s an adventure with a lot of heart (but be prepared for some sadness and violence along the way).

Storytelling

Not much to dislike. Mix of characters, AI in the mix, self-discovery and self knowledge of characters.

Excellent Story of Found Family in Space

For those who have read book 1, this one is equally good. If you haven’t already read the first book, pick up Cascade Failure first. I’ve haven’t fallen in love with characters this much since the Murderbot series.

Great Space Opera

One of the best books I've listened to this year! I loved the first book, but this one is even better. The crew of the Ambit are broken, broke down, screwed up people, but they're a family together.

Full on action with complex believable characters

While the action is non-stop it is the characters that make these books stand out. Complex, tough, yet vulnerable and struggling to deal with relationships, they are n ver maudlin.

Great narration really brings these characters to life and moves the story along.
