Based on the description of this book, I was hoping for more of a ghost story. That wasn't really what this book was about. Didn't like the characters and the story moved along very slowly. The ending was just a bit out there for me on believing what was happening and why.

The story line was good and had several twists I did not see coming. I saved the author and will listen to the other titles.

I’m not a fan of the AI narration, but this one was actually pretty good. It’s not as distorted and monotone as the other AI narration I have listened to.

Virtual voice sucked! Flat, dull, and said the same words different ways. Good story however.

The story itself is a good listen. As for the virtual narrator it helps if you adjust the EQ on your phone.

The story is unpredictable. There's a couple parts where the voice reading is off, but overall it's a good book.

Interesting characters. Good story. A very nice mix of mystery and supernatural. All around enjoyable to read.

At first I thought the virtual narration was remarkable, but as the story progressed, I became distracted and annoyed by odd inflections and mistakes, such as reading "1940" as one thousand nine hundred forty. A good story needs a human reader.
