I really liked how memories from his childhood was brought in to the story. A childhood home with a solid good upbringing had a dark side that good over came. I really hope there's a book 2, where we find out where the darkness came from.

The story itself is a good listen. As for the virtual narrator it helps if you adjust the EQ on your phone.

The story is unpredictable. There's a couple parts where the voice reading is off, but overall it's a good book.

The story line was good and had several twists I did not see coming. I saved the author and will listen to the other titles.

I’m not a fan of the AI narration, but this one was actually pretty good. It’s not as distorted and monotone as the other AI narration I have listened to.

i found the story Interesting and i wasnt really expecting some of the twists. i like the blend of supernatural and that it wasnt all just tied up in a ghost bow. "oh ghosts did it" end of story. haha! it was more complex.
