Happy ever after

Well,sometimes we have to go through just to realize how well we have it, or to see the grass isn't greener on the other side. Glad PeeWee and Annette are back in good graces. That's where they need to be. Charlotte learned the hard way but became successful because of it. Great series!!!!

Resonated with My Soul

I love the story and the characters resilience. The most memorable moment is when Rhoda firmly resolved, after daughter slapped her, to put her out of her house that very moment. The narrator's voice resonated the souls if the characters and made me fully visualize everything about them. ❤

Omg she did it again

I love the Author the narrator and the story kept me on my toes. I love the next story gave me goosebumps. I’ll be buying the next audible!!!! Im so sad Madea and Scary Mary passed. But its a wonderful story been following the books since i was a teenager.

Loved The Entire Series!!

I hated that this series ended! Because I listened to all six books back to back, I felt like each character was real!! LOL!! Annette really annoyed me at times being so slow and going over board with PeeWee but in the end I tolerated her. Great Series!!

Disappointed.

I was disappointed with Annette's behavior throughout the entire book. She acted like she had no sense after all she'd been through and after all she had done in the previous 4 books. I was also disappointed at the way the author kept prolonging the crucial events, with descriptions and blasts from the past. It was more like beating around the bush, after taking us through 4 books. The first 3 books were good, but the last 2 weren't that great.

I think was a good book. I always enjoy listening to this narrator; and now I’m a fan of the author as well.

Good ending to an amazing series BUT …

Ok, so this series has been a factor mine since the first book. I liked how Annette grew with the times but it was a frustrating how she didn’t listen to her daughter when she tried to tell her about the neighbor. Considering what she went thru. Also the storyline with jade was just a mess that made me cringe because Rhoda was delusional about her daughter and never stood up for annette when jade was being a nasty towards her. Jade was Rhoda’s karma. The first 2 books will always be my faves. They were written in a period of time where the author could relate, once the times changed some of the dialogue felt like the author was a bit out of touch. I also love the narrator Patricia R. Floyd.
