narrator was great
the arguements he has with the women makes since but the answers they give do not and he just accepts them and is like oh hey that makes sense. the relationships are so forced and nonsensical that it boggles the mind

I'm upset this sat on my wish list for so long
I really wish I got into this series earlier. there are certain plot points better stereotypical to this genre however they're only meant to get you started. after that the writer does an excellent job, bringing you in and out of the world to solidify it. really nicely done

well done!
I enjoyed this. it got me wrapped up in the story, characters, and telling the mc to stop being a moron repeatedly out of mild exasperation. lol. I think I saw it mentioned in another review, so it made me chuckle when I saw it as well, that the author may want to brush up on what a hyman is, but it's a totally inconsequential part of what happens as not to matter. for those concerned with such things, while sex does happen, it is not explicit at all. it is talked about, but things fade to black rather than getting descriptive.
