Never in my life have I ever “listened” to a book that helped me change my life, I know I’m a gambling addict, and I know what I had to do to stop, but for some reason I let my GAM always take control- the way you made me look at myself in different perspectives is what helped me. Gambling addiction can take a toll on one's mental and physical health, in addition to one's pockets as well. I know of someone who unfortunately has fallen into that addiction, which affected her relationships with people around her and even caused her to lie to them in order to be lent money, which people had no idea was aiding in her gambling addiction. Anyhow, this book is great as it provides ways for recovering from the monster that is gambling, which I think could be applied to any addiction for that matter. It is an eye-opener with a lot of valuable strategies and insights coming from the author who was a former gambling addict.

If you or someone you know has a gambling addiction, this book is worth a read to start off the road to recovery!
