Good story

I liked the story but I feel like it was missing key feelings between Gabby and Trey. The narrator was okay. It took me a couple of chapters to get into it. the male characters sounded more monotone but liked her voice as Gabby. I think the book would have been better with a male and female narrator.

The narrator was excellent. I felt she captured the characters perfectly. The story was just okay. It kind of dragged on and just when I thought we were getting somewhere it stopped. Lacked character development and story depth. I don’t think I will be reading more of this series.

Great read!

I loved this story. The writer and narrator did an awesome job bringing every character to life. I could not put this story down, I needed to know what was going to happen next. My only negative comment is that Gabby survived for 5 years, staying a step ahead of her abductors. Only a strong, smart and courageous young woman could manage that. Why after finding a safe sanctuary would you make Gabby a weak, cowardly shadow of a person. Over all great beginning to this shifter series. I am looking forward to Book 2 Trina. I would definitely recommend this book.

Stunning

This story was amazing! I loved the characters. Fabulous narrator. I just wish it told about the finding of Gabby's family too!

Exceptional narrator

The narrator does a good a great job. One of the characters is really hyper and loves to talk, which comes across exceptionally well. The voice range from old to young, male to female is wonderful.
Gabby and Trey get a happy for now ending because she is still.searching for her missing family. I am excited to listen to more!

Great series begin

I was initially put off by this book. In my narrow-minded way of thinking, I thought a book that had a wolf alpha male as a lead character should have been voiced by a man. While I still think that, this book is a definite exception.

The story surrounds a girl who flees, does not know who from, and then finds herself living in the midst of a wolf pack. A wolf pack that she neither knew existed or that she was a member of. That may not sound like the genesis of a great story but believe me, it was. The writer kept us on a string waiting until Gabby was able to put the pieces together of her true identity. It was torture and the stuff of good writing.

The narrator, though female, handled this story and characters very well. She had very strong female voices and her male voices delivered.

There is a great set-up for book two and I look forward to knowing more.

great shifter read

I received this book for free for a honest review. I loved this take on wolves. Gabby was strong, scared and independent. I felt like I was there with her. The author did a great job of keeping you interested and the storyline flowing. The Narrator did an excellent job of bringing the characters to life. highly reccomend

I really enjoyed this book. I am a fan of shifter stories and this one has a twist to it that I have not seen in other shifter books. Highly recommended!!!!

Wow just wow!

Oh my gosh!! Gabby is amazeballs! Seriously there is no way you can NOT fall in love with this book. I feel completely bereft that it is over.

First, the author, Sherry Foster, did an amazing job writing this book. The characters are wonderfully described and portrayed. The emotion of the story is clearly portrayed as well. I feel like the story just sped too quickly for me. I need more!! The narrator, Jacq Ainsworth, did an amazing job with the story as well. I can’t wait to read more or listen to more from Sherry and Jacq. What a great combination! Also, the production was very good, normally I can find at least one hiccup but not a one this time.

This story was just so magnetic. The story line grasped my attention like none other. I absolutely adore Gabby. Even with all that she has standing against her she pushes through and grows as a young woman. Seriously, I laughed a few times and wanted to cry some too. Trey is seriously awesome as well. He’s the most understanding guy ever. His goal is to protect, and he does it well. Plus, his family is freaking amazing! I feel like his sister really tried to steal the story, but I loved every minute about it. Really, all of the characters will keep you on your feet.

This story over all was written and portrayed so beautifully until the very end. Each character will grasp your heart tighter and each scene will have to wishing for more. By the time you get to the end, you will be left desperate for more information. I seriously cannot wait to read the next installment! I’m sure it will truly be amazing as well.
