LOVED IT ❤️!!

One of the best paranormal books I have read in a long time excellently written and grabs you from the beginning and holds you until the very end can not wait for more!!! Narration really brought this book alive and you will definitely enjoy!!

Male narrator

The narrators weren’t on the same page when doing voices for everyone.. he made her sound like a prissy country girl etc.. good over all but that got on my nerves a little

Great start to what seems to be an epic story

The narrators are wonderful. The author mixes humor and pain and makes the heroine seem real yet strong. Can’t wait for the next installment!! Big fan of B.L. Bunnemer!!

another stunning book written by bl brunnemer!!! she is absolutely amazing in every way. love how the two series are in the same world and run together!!!

Awesome heroine

I loved the characters. There was so much depth to each of them. However, the narrators could really bother me. It wasn’t all the time but certain voices just really messed with the story. Good thing is that this story is so good I continually kept listening because I just kept needing to hear the rest.

(Atticus & Evelyn): I really enjoyed this book. Despise the cliffhanger ending, it was really good. Evelyn is a gargoyle and as far as she knows, she's the only one. Until she feels herself being followed by Atticus, another gargoyle. Atticus is one of the strongest gargoyles left and he travels with a team of gargoyles. When he finds Evelyn and they shake hands, they have an immediate attraction. I really liked the concept, they fight demons and humans who use demons for their own purpose. The story is hilarious, mysterious and a little creepy. The author has built an amazingly dark world right under the noses of humans. There are other creatures like wolf shifters, vampires and witches. What I loved most was the strong bond developed quickly between the men of Atticus' team and Evelyn. They almost felt like big brothers to her. Her best friend is a wolf shifter who's just as badass. I didn't really like the no fraternizing with other species thing, it seemed a little old fashioned but hopefully in the next book we'll get past that. The backstory for both Evelyn and Atticus are heartbreaking and it almost explains why their chemistry is so strong. The story is a slow burn but when it's lit it's a full blown blaze. Really good book. Glad I took a chance on this series.
