I listened to the entire series. Love them all! Strong women, strong men! It’s was funny, sad, sexy and some hot scenes. Above all HEA! Highly recommend!!!

What A Beautiful Story

Second chances at love and life in their mid 40’s. What a great way to wrap up a series!

Dom got a second chance at living a full life by settling down in Lomand. He found a great job that turned into a huge extended family as well.

Chase found Hannah, which led to Dom finding Cherry and both couples sliding into love full throttle style!

Chase is the epitome of a cinnamon roll hero and while Dom is a bit more gruff he is so happy with Cherry and works with her anxieties and stressors. Doesn’t push her too far too fast.

They work so well together as a couple and she blended really well personality wise with the rest of the garage family.

This gem had some sad tears and happy tears moments at the end. But so heart warming overall.

This gem was narrated by John Lane and Maxine Mitchell. Another great narration pairing.

Full Throttle, an Audiobook by Melanie Moreland is the story of Dom and Cherry. These two are mature adults, so this book has a bit of a different tone than the norm….which isn’t a bad thing!! Cherry works as a hair stylist, has a child, and realizes that things have to change for her. Dom has watched her from afar for a while now…and is finally convinced to meet her. So…he decides he needs a trim!

I loved the storyline here and the differing approach to romance when the couple involved are a bit older…not much…just a bit. The problems are different, more serious, life-altering, and important…and REAL. These two had me completely immersed in their world and I loved it!!

This Audiobook was fantastically narrated by John Lane and Maxine Mitchell, whose spot-on performances helped elevate a book that was ALREADY in the stratosphere! They captured the mood, the emotions, the depth of character, and the romance…beautifully!!!

Such a great couple to finish the series!

Getting started on this one was kind of bittersweet, knowing it was the final book in the Reynolds Restorations series. At the same time, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Found family is one of my favorite tropes, and the characters in this series have become like friends to me. I can visit them over and over as the mood strikes.
That brings me to Full Throttle for Dom and Cherry's story. I've loved every couple in the series, but this one quickly became my favorite. Dom is an absolute sweetie in a sexy-as-sin package, and the things he says to Cherry are positively swoon-worthy. It takes Cherry a little longer to get on board with the whole romance thing, but only a little. Dom is a man who knows what he wants and goes after it... Well, he goes after it Full Throttle. We do get a twist or two along the way, but there's a magnetism between Dom and Cherry that nothing can break.
To sum it up, the Reynolds Restorations series is a found family of down-to-earth, blue-collar characters that you can't get enough of. It's full of everything I've come to expect from Melanie Moreland, and I can't wait to see what she does next.
If you've ever had the pleasure of listening to Maxine Mitchell and John Lane, you already know how talented they are. They've applied that talent to Full Throttle, and it's so good! They are Cherry and Dom, and that's what they'll sound like in my head from now on. This one is a combination of great writing and great performances, and together, they're pretty hard to beat.

Sweet Romance!

This is the fifth and last book in the Reynolds Restorations series. I love this series. I read it, and loved it. The audiobook version is great! Dom and Cherry's story is beautifully written, and engaging. The storyline is sweet, heartwarming, and emotional. Maxine Mitchell and John Lane did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this series.
