Paris and Prior 😘😘😘

Another winner from Carrie Ann Ryan. The Promise Me series is amazing. Jason Clarke and Emma Wilder once again delivered. I am looking forward to the rest of the series. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Loved Paris and Prior!

I loved this romantic suspense from Carrie. Paris and Prior start off not being liking each other but that quickly changes as they develop a friendship while working together. I loved watching their friendship grow into so much more. Paris has a past that comes back and threatens what they built. The suspense had me on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next. I loved them getting their happy ending after everything they had been through. Emma Wilder and Jason Clarke did an amazing job with the narration.

Prior and Paris

Paris and Prior know each other because of Hazel and Cross. These two seems to have a love hate relationship and neither one can really say way. Things change when they start working together and decide to work on building a friendship because of their family. When Paris’s past comes back to haunt her things change between them.

Loved it!

This book was so good. I loved the back and forth between Prior and Paris.

Paris has such a hard outside. Watching Prior try to crack her shell was perfect. This story felt so real I just wanted to jump inside. I always wish Carrie Ann Ryan's world existed her characters are always amazing and you want more but in I want to see this couple in 20 years kinda way. Thankfully with Carrie Ann Ryan books you do get tiny glimpses inside past character's lives. It is one of my favorite things about the MI world.

If you like a slower burn and lots of back and forth this book is so for you. I cannot wait for the rest of the series. <3

Single moment

A single moment in time that can change everything. From that Moment is a fantastic read that grabs your heart and wont let go. This is truly a beautiful read.

Great romantic suspense

I really enjoyed From That Moment by author Carrie Ann Ryan and this story had me hooked right from the beginning. I really liked the chemistry between Prior and Paris and once these two acknowledged their feelings for one another, there was nothing to stop them, even Paris’ past. There were some suspenseful moments that’s for sure. Narrators Emma Wilder and Jason Clarke were terrific in their performances of the characters and this story really came to life for me.

Paris and Prior


This is the second book in the Promise Me series, and if you have read or listened to the first book Forever Only Once you will already have met Paris and Prior. If you haven't don't worry you can still enjoy this book but be warned you will then want to listen to Hazel and Cross's story afterwards.

Paris and her three friends have made a pact to arrange blind dates for each other, Hazel met Cross whilst waiting for her blind date arrive. Cross has three brothers Prior being one of them so these two know each other already.

Prior's life seems perfect on the surface, he's been dating Alison for six months or so, his family is close and he's close to Arden his sister and her husband (Wrapped in Ink). Prior has accepted a six-month temporary position working in the same office as Paris. There's just one problem she seems to dislike him and he has no idea why.

Paris' life has been far from easy, her childhood was full of cruelty and beatings which left her with more than a few broken bones and some serious issues. She's made a new start and some great friends who have become her family. She also has a job she loves but she's not looking forward to working closely with Prior.

She's been on a few blind dates which didn't work out and Prior was there to see the results of two of them, now she wants to call it quits despite the pact she made with the girls. Maybe it's time for Dakota or Myra to find someone to share their lives with?

Surprisingly both Paris and Prior can work with one another and whilst doing so find a middle ground. Both feel an attraction for the other but they force themselves not to act on it. Then Paris's past comes back to haunt her, and they find that they are better together than apart.

I loved Prior's attitude around her at work, how he showed her that he appreciated her criticisms, that they helped him do a better job. He respected her, he fought for her and she was able to see a side of him she never imagined existed. Their story was something of an emotional rollercoaster with both good and bad things happening to both of them but through it all their relationship became stronger and deeper. These two were perfect for each other.

I became enthralled by their story from the moment Paris and Prior met and I didn't want to stop listening until the end, I loved the epilogues they rounded off the story beautifully. The narration by Emma Wilder and Jason Clarke is excellent and added to my enjoyment of the story.

Emotional and touching story!

4.5-stars!

I absolutely loved listening to From That Moment by Carrie Ann Ryan. Emma Wilder and Jason Clarke truly brought Paris and Prior to life. It was emotional and captivating from start to finish. The second book in her Promise me series, this is Paris and Prior’s story. Though each book in the series can be read as a standalone, the series has interconnected family and friends and honestly, I loved the first book and highly recommend it. The woman in the series are helping each other move forward from their pasts and begin dating.

Paris has had some bad blind dates so far and is ready to throw in the towel but love usually comes where you at least expect it. Prior and Paris have always seemed to be at each other’s throats, so when he goes to work with Paris, can they learn to work together, right? I loved Paris. Though she carries some heavy baggage from her past, she is strong and determined. Prior was caring and protective. As lines begin to blur, can they see what they truly share before it’s too late? Another great listen from this author!

Prior and Paris

It’s time for Paris to go on the blind dates, she has to... that is their pact. The guys chosen by their friends are not always the best ones. Enter Prior, one of the Brady’s. He is not a blind date but he is gorgeous. As a coworker, who also has a girlfriend... off limits. I enjoy this series and the girl’s pact to find their ones. That they are closer than they think and there is always a bit of drama, suspense and romance is a great combination. I loved Prior and he is a gentleman. Their have awesome chemistry and Paris character is strong and yet vulnerable. It is a great listen! The narrators did a great job too.

♡Prior and Paris♡!! This was a really great story. It had the perfect amount of suspense and apprehension. I felt from the beginning like something major was going to happen but the overall story kept me distracted so when the big stuff hit I was completely drawn into the turn of events. I really enjoyed Paris and Prior's friends to lovers relationship. It was funny how he kept bumping into her when she was in the middle of some pretty awful blind dates. Paris's background story was heartbreaking. I felt for her and had a better understanding of why she acted the way she did when all of those pieces fit together. I didn't really like her in the first part of the book but she ended up being one of my favorite female leads.
The narration was flawless. I loved both voices and even their counter female/male voices. Both of them did an amazing job.

OMG

OMG where to start. I’ve been looking forward to this book for ages.
Prior is a Brady brother and a software engineer that freelance between branches of the company he works for and start a project in a different company to change things up but when he gets there he find out Paris is his boss.
Paris is a extended friend of the Brady/Montgomery family and is part of a find a boyfriend pack with her girl friends.
OMG I loved this book and completely binged it in one day once I started it.
You can not beat Carrie Ann Ryan writes fantastic stories especially about big families which I love especially as I come from a big crazy family that’s in each other’s lives.
Narrators are amazing and just bring the story out so well.
