Paisley can truly do no wrong in my eyes. Every single thing she has put out, I have read, devoured and ADORED. This book specifically, however, hit me just so much harder. When I tell you I couldn’t get enough of Cassie Spencer and Haden Westbrook, that is the epitome of an understatement. To the point where it took me a really long time and my audio re-read to be able to form true words how much I loved them. Coming from someone who suffers from anxiety Cassie’s strength and Haden’s unwavering support was something that I will truly never get over. Their connection was magical in a way that they were just so clearly perfect for each other, I was enamored with them from their first interaction. I don’t cry very often when I read but this one got me a few times and I couldn’t have been happier about it. You get all the usual swoon and spice that we come to know and love from Ms. Paisley and I can promise that you will not be spared a filthy mouthed cowboy. I can also assure you that you will not be disappointed when you start looking at a game of UNO differently. I guarantee that you will be feral to get back to Silver Pines, just like I always am. Infinite stars for the Princess and her Cowboy. Bring on Asher and Olivia! I’m so ready!

4.5⭐️ — Freeing the Wild by Paisley Hope

Cowboy romances will always be my go-to, so this one was an automatic yes for me. This was also the first audiobook by Paisley Hope that I’ve listened to, and I really enjoyed the experience. At times, the female narrator’s voice for the male characters felt a little distracting for me, but it didn’t take away from how much I enjoyed the story overall.

I loved the way the story started with Cassie and the MMC hooking up right away. It immediately pulled me into their chemistry. Then the story jumps forward to them unexpectedly becoming neighbors while Cassie is taking a break from the music scene, which created such a fun dynamic between them. Watching their relationship slowly build from that point was one of my favorite parts of the book.

As someone who struggles with anxiety, I found myself relating to Cassie in a lot of ways. Even though anxiety looks different for everyone, I think Paisley did a wonderful job portraying it through Cassie’s story in a way that felt genuine and relatable.

I also went to college in Kentucky, and this series brings back memories of driving through those beautiful Kentucky sunsets. It added an extra layer of nostalgia to the story for me.
I can’t wait to jump into the next book of this series!

Paisley Hope! I seriously have no idea what you put in these dang books!! But Freeing the Wild was no different! Wade and Ivy have been my favorite couple, but Haden and Cassie might have taken the top spot!
I love their individual stories, and then when their story came together!! *swoon* 🤌🏻 Cassie is so dang sassy, and I loved it! I felt for what she went through! Haden! 🫦 You sweet, filthy-mouthed, wrangler-wearing cowboy! I loved his patience and his banter with Cassie. This book was everything! It has the found family we have grown to love over 4 books! It has everything! I love this book so much and will talk about it all the dang time!
