Once free, can Alice and Luka's tenuous relationship survive on this planet? Will the evil men that held them prisoner ever see justice? Alice knows only one thing for certain - her life will never be the same again.

Binged it

Choosing Theo hooked me so hard that I immediately started listening to Freeing Luka. I love a world-building story and I find myself imagining every location described in this book. It just adds to the thrill of the plot development. As a MMC, Luka didn’t quite grab me like Theo did, but he was no less endearing. Very sweet story, easy to read annnnnd… there’s a “Good Girl” snuck in there, too 😏🥵

10/10 new favorite so good I need more

this series has it all spice, plot, action and the way I am so invested in the characters perfection! I usually don't leave reviews but I have to it's truly that good. I need the whole series hopefully more come out and with the same narrators just perfect

love this series!

No freaky tenticle monsters here. if you love the enemy's to lovers vibe and fated mates- you're in the right place! a vivid world that isn't too out there and sci-fi for casual readers who don't like excessive world building. a nice level of spice that complements rather than dominates the story but is very sexy and well written. This series has action, intrigue and romance as well as humor and everything you want from a fish out of water romance. I wasn't sure what to expect and ended up binging the who series. the narrator is fantastic and does a great job with the male and female voices. not to breathy or growly like some I've heard recently and realistic female voices. I love interconnected romance series where we get to run Into our previous leads and see how they are doing. Haven't found a world I wanted to live in this much since Prythian. highly recommend.

Great book 2

Although not quite as enjoyable as Choosing Theo, this follow up was a great read with another dreamy man making you wish to live in Tremanta 😄

So I don’t usually write reviews but I was reading the reviews and they weren’t the greatest so I thought I had put my two cents in it. I’m just going to be realistic on what I thought. This book was pretty good it wasn’t the most amazing book I’ve ever read in my life but still a really good second book to the series! I read a review saying that she just cries a ton in the beginning and what’s actually happening is just character development. I actually liked the truthfulness of how she felt and her overcoming her past trauma to let Luca in. It would’ve been pretty boring if she was just some bad ass who is totally fine being taken from her home and then totally fine with some random stranger she never met before to be her mate. I think she only cried once maybe twice. There was only one moment where I was like OK come on let’s move on and that was in the middle of the book because of some repetition. but after that Little drag in story the story picked up and was good to listen to! I think if you like the first book this one will be good to just give it a chance!

From a dangerous beginning to cozy courtship.

I liked the beginning where they leaned on each other during the worst of times. Everything else got in their way after they were freed. But it was still cute and very hot to watch them come to understanding. If you love eager golden retriever who keeps fumbling, Luka is your man. I liked that Alice rolled with the punches.

Another fantastic story

I agree with a reviewer that one person totally lied in her review. This female was very courageous and brave, she fought back from the very beginning and rescued herself & others, she was not whinny and didn’t spend the first 2 hours of the book crying. It was mentioned that she cried twice, no lengthy sobbing or feeling sorry for herself. These characters and new ones mentioned are very interesting and likable, there was a good amount of mystery/danger plus some very hot sex. The sex came later than I like but it fit the storyline. Can’t wait to start the next book. Great narration by Stephen Dexter.

Great love story

I know there is a negative post on this story, but I loved it.

I was a victim of abuse and it is very difficult to trust someone after that.

I relate the some of the heroins insecurities. I was lucky enough to find a wonderful person that also was extremely patient with me. We have been together for 19 years and I know they will be many more.

I praise the writer for thinking outside the box and shedding some light on the issue of trust.

I truly enjoyed the story and believe there is something for everyone.
