The best example of reverse haram writing I’ve ever read

This review will be spoiler free and about all 4 books in the series.

I’ve read a LOT of RH content and this is the only one I’ve ever reread. I think reading this one early in my RH genre discovery set my standards very high. The plot is exciting and pretty unpredictable but in a way that makes you say “oh I should have seen that coming” when you and the characters finally get all of the pieces. The romance is sweet, satisfying, and sometimes heart wrenching depending on the page. The multiple partner dynamic is handled really well also. No guy is held above the others or focused on more than the others. This really set the standard for me as far as romance books go and so far I haven’t found anything else that quite lives up to it.

I went with 4/5 for the performance because the voice actor didn’t sing or say things in a sing-song voice when that type of speech was described. In several places they didn’t use the voice or tone the author described which is absolutely fair enough and their prerogative as a voice actor but I personally think a perfect performance would follow those prompts exactly. Since I’m justifying a less than perfect score you can probably guess the voice acting was pretty wonderful overall.

TLDR: If you only ever read one RH series- make it this one.

I love this series

this is one of my go back to books when I'm in the middle of other projects or just missing the guys. fantastic read and will get you hooked to finish. highly recommended.

Review of whole series

I genuinely enjoyed the end of this series (book 4) so it was worth it.

The men are more antagonistic than friends. Their bickering got old and uninteresting. The mystery element was really fun. We slowly learn about her life, powers, and how she got trapped. All the while, it's really funny. It has a similar sense of humor to Heart Hassle by Raven Kennedy.

The books are super short and it really should've been a duology. There is some casual racism and the use of the g-slur.

Great story

I definitely enjoyed the book and the characters snarky attitudes and all. Performance was alright but it still made the story more interesting. I am for sure going to read the next books and see where our little “harem” go from there.

Those Men are A- Holes!!!!

This is a fun and entertaining story. The men are jerks right now, so none of them are my favorites, but I love the fmc. She is smart, funny, and a wise-ass. Hollie Jackson also did a great job narrating.

slow burn for sure, I couldn't wait 5 minutes to start the next book. love this story and how it builds!! the brat in me was so satisfied.

Great Story line

I really enjoyed the storyline something that I haven't heard before. Some humor. Author doesn't rush the story but it isn't a draggy one either. Really enjoyed can't wait to read the next in the series
