Top 100 sports romance best seller!

Meet Graham Tettersaw, former star quarterback. He blew his first shot at success, but now he has a second chance at playing football...and at having a life.

Graham's not about to squander this new opportunity with a rising team. No way. They're about to make his dreams come true, even If they did just add a weird clause that he's supposed to pretend some random chick is his girlfriend.

Whatever!

Teams can be weird about stuff. But Graham can play along. After all, it's all about forward progress.

In football, getting the ball down the field and scoring is goal number one. Life isn't all that much different. That's why Graham is hoping to do some scoring of his own, off the field. Especially when he finds out the pretend girlfriend the team has picked out for him, Eden Vetterly, is beyond hot.

But it's not all about sex.

Graham really likes Eden.

And she likes him too - a lot.

Too bad the team just changed all the rules.

Forward Progress is the first audiobook in the new Men of Fall series, where football meets romance.

Great start to the series

Book one in an exciting new series from S.R. Grey and I was so excited to dive in. Graham Tettersaw is a former star quarterback looking to get back into the game he loves. When an opportunity is forthcoming, the only catch is that the team requires he be in a steady relationship.

Enter Eden Vetterly, a woman, in need of money, she is the perfect woman to play the part. However, the fact that there is an instant attraction may complicate the arrangement as the chemistry between them is off the charts. Will they be able to ignore their smouldering attraction or will they give in to temptation?

I really loved both the characters, separately and together. Forward Progress is full of drama, steam, laughter and romance and I absolutely devoured it. Graham is certainly swoon worthy and Eden is a woman who could be my friend. If only they could ignore the outside influences threatening to destroy them, they might just get their happily ever after.

This was a great start to the series and both Reagan West and Teddy Hamilton's narration was spot on. I cannot wait to see what S.R.Grey has in store for the Men of Fall. Who will be next?

The narrators really raise this on to the next level

This is my first book by this S.R. Grey. I like what the author did with the story. It had some fun moments and it did not go in the direction I thought it would. It’s happier and more even keeled. Sure the owners were jerks but they are looking to get butts in the seats. Whatever it takes! This could have gone way worse. The characters were great. Usually I tend to favor the males but in this one I really liked Eden. She was struggling and only wanted the best for her brother (who is a great secondary character). This lead her to questionable actions but it also led her to Graham.

Teddy Hamilton and Reagan West did an amazing job narrating. They both had notes of excitement, laughter, sadness in their voices while reading. This is what makes a book wonderful to listen to. We already have a good story and these two made the characters more believable and listener friendly.
This seems well rounded and makes me a little more interested in the o

Graham💘Eden! Great Story & Listen🎧 Sweet Romance!

This is a great book, it grabbed my attention right from the start and held it to the end. The storylines and characters are interesting and realistic. Graham Tettersaw misses his time on the field, he gets a second chance at playing for a team in a newly created football league. The team has conditions built in to his contract, which includes the team controlling aspects his private life and his image in social media. They want him to have a steady girlfriend, his agent Jock finds one for him. Eden Vetterly, a hard working waitress is the legal guardian of her younger brother, she wants the best for him and makes sacrifices for him, including signing a contract to pretend to be a girlfriend to the new quarterback of the Columbus Comets. There was an instant attraction when these two met but they held back not knowing what each others deal was. I loved how well plotted this story was, it had a nice flow to it, from getting to know each other to the build up of the relationship. Eden and Graham were great together and for each other, both were stand up people with huge hearts, putting others before themselves. There is never a dull moment in this book, it all plays out nicely, with plenty of drama, a twist here and there and some hot romance. This is my first book by S.R. Grey and it will not be my last. Thank you for this great story.

I listened to the Audible edition, Teddy Hamilton and Reagan West are terrific narrators and voice performers. They bring these characters to life, give each their own voice and personality, as well as heart and attitude. They do an amazing job projecting the emotions of the characters and the drama of the story info their performance. Each are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen🎧

Football Favorite!

S.R. Grey is incredible at writing books I fall in love with. Forward Progress is no exception. I was attracted to Graham when he was first introduced in the Men on Ice series. Graham and Eden had immediate chemistry, and it was delightful watching them grow and sneak around. I loved the imagery in the book, and how the author wrote the details that really added to the book. The humor was an added plus. Teddy Hamilton and Reagan West were delightful bringing the characters to life. Their emotions were spot on, and the timing for the humor made it laugh out loud. This is a standalone listen and the start of a new series. I'll definitely be listening to more by this talented author and narrator.

When you know, You can't let go

While the chemistry was built on a first sight connection, our author gave us more than heated moments, as a friendship developed so did the love as far as romance book's go this was a true description of a man living his second chance carer and a woman finally encountering what had been missing from her life.

narration was perfection.

Chances

Looking for a second chance at a dream already pursued a new league with crazy stipulations. Eden living on pennies wanting better for her brother takes a chance on a crazy deal. With off the chart chemistry Graham and Eden get pulled away by the ones who put them together. Will a team inflicted 'break' be the end for them?

S.R. Grey delivers yet again with a different sport but still just as captivating story. Teddy Hamilton and Reagan West keep me wanting more giving S.R. Grey's work the voices they deserve. Can't wait for more Man of Fall.

3 Stars ⭐⭐⭐🎧

I don't get how some of ... Ok that is why, I just realized I was about to say why are some of R.S. Grey's work so great and why do some miss the mark. Then I realized this is a different author this is S.R. Grey that would explain it!

Ok so I liked this book I didn't love it. I get that Graham is a wild card, he has been out of the game for a while and his past is a big part of it. But why in the world would he let management dictate his life!?!?! His playing was at an all time high, so when they tell him to do one thing, he does not his fault he feel in love. Then they want a 180 talk about whiplash!!

I would have put my foot down and been like no, personal life is not up for debate since they were the ones to say what he was going to do about it in the beginning!!

This where all the dramalama comes in and I just don't do dramalama!

I finished the book and I am sad it had to be so up and down. I liked the narration so I kept listening until I finished.

So enjoyed this audio!!

I really enjoyed listening to this audio where both Graham and Eden are brought to life and you really feel like you are immersed into their story. I have listened to audiobooks done by Reagan before and really love the way she narrates. This is my first time hearing Teddy's voice, I must admit I am now a definite fan. These two together have really made this story amazing and I cannot wait to hear more in this series. There is so much love, friendships, family, drama and some rather sizzling moments as well! I laughed, sighed, swooned and have to say its a definite win in sports romance for me!!

Decent Listen

The story was pretty good, but I didn't love it. It was definitely entertaining, but I feel like things moved a little too quickly and wrapped up too quickly. It's a pretty short audio, so I guess I should have expected that.

Both the characters were pretty solid. I didn't fully believe their relationship until a good way in, probably because it started so quickly. I would have liked more back story about Graham, particularly his addiction issues. They were touched on in the beginning, but there were never any real details about it. Eden was pretty flushed out, though. We learned about her background and her relationship with her brother, so I really enjoyed that.

Teddy Hamilton is always a good narrator. For some reason his female voice didn't really do it for me when usually I'm okay with it. Reagan West is a new narrator to me and I thought she did an okay job, but she reads very slowly. I sped it up to 1.25 and that put her at roughly a normal pace. I don't like when the reading is rushed, but it was so slow at times that it really bugged me. That being said, I wouldn't shy away from a book if she narrated it.

Overall, the story line was okay, nothing too note worthy and the narration was about the same. This falls under the, I do and don't recommend it category. If you listen to it, you'll enjoy it, but it probably won't wow you.
