intriguing

Picking up where the previous book left off, we jump right back into the action that is considered Raven's life. It is filled with twists and turn along with danger and suspense. It continues to be an incredibly intriguing read that held my attention captive. I am very excited to read the continuation of the series.

Still a great series!

I've read each book and listened to them as well. I enjoy both delivery methods. I enjoy this series so much that I can't wait for the next part.

The Plot Thickens

Gleeful Goblin Review: This story continues unraveling the conspiracy that's been building up behind the scenes around the Blood Witch prophecy. Thematically it feels more and more like the Chicagoland Vampires series (which I love) in that a newly turned but powerful female vampire is turning the head of an ancient male vampire in power who had been losing interest in and touch with the world around him. But in this series there's a sharper focus on taking out our FMC before she can realize her potential or know what's in store for her. There are some elements that come to light here and reveal bits of the conspiracy but most of all we get to know all the characters better. The story ends on a small cliffhanger which is always hard when you don't immediately have the next section available in the same format BUT I'm certainly eager for the next audiobook! 5/5 Stars.

Another Great Addition to the Series

Tia Didmon never ceases to amaze with her writing prowess. This third installment of the series kept me hooked thanks to the well written characters.

Katie Hagaman was able to bring this story to life and made this as fun to listen to as it was to read.

A Delightfully Dark and Magical Midlife Adventure

The intriguing and amusing Paranormal Women's Fiction book "Forty Shades of Dead" by Tia Didmon chronicles the journey of a midlife witch as she faces the difficulties of age, magic, and the paranormal. This audiobook, which is the third book in the Magical Midlife Death series, is masterfully narrated and perfectly captures the essence of the characters with a wonderful balance of heart, comedy, and sass. The narrative has many surprising turns and twists, and Didmon writes in an engrossing style.
The protagonist is a likable and charming figure because of her realistic battles with menopause, self-discovery, and her newly discovered abilities. The plot is made more complex and endearing by the equally outstanding supporting cast. "Forty Shades of Dead" is a narrative that blends comedy, heart, and a hint of evil, and is highly recommended for fans of magical realism and paranormal women's fiction.

Entertaining

This is book 3 of the series of Magical Midlife Death. I really enjoyed this book. I really liked the name of this book as it is entertaining for me. If you enjoy vampires with a twist this is the book for you. I look forward to reading more.

This audiobook is a great story really Leave you wanting more this is book 3 in the series the Narrator did a great job telling the story this is a great audiobook.

Raven

This is book 3 in this quirky and humorous story. It is a fun read. There is political intrigue when a witch turns into a vampire and retains her magical abilities. Actually, those abilities grow and develop more. There is a prophecy of a Blood Witch, which many are afraid of coming true. The lead Vampire and has lost all interest in life before Raven arrived. She has breathed new life into him and extended his reign, which some dislike. Politics play a large part in all of their lives. This is another great story by the author. I have enjoyed Raven’s story as things are revealed. The narration is excellent. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. You definitely kneed to have read or listen to
the two books before this one to make sense
of what is going on and to know the characters.
There’s drama betrayals action suspense a hint
of heat and a romance that is building between the
two main characters.
It finish up on a cliffhanger
The narrator was easy to listen to and did a great
job of bringing all characters alive.
