Book ten in the Return of the King/Magical Midlife Death, another engaging story in the series. Rene and Raven have things to overcome to try to defeat the King of Lycan. The story grabbed my interest and held my interest as I listened to Katie Hagaman narrate the story.

Great addition to the series

Each book in this series leads to the
next so definitely read them in order
so it make sense .
Great action drama romance and definitely
some mystery as well.
I had the pleasure of reading and listening to this

Good Addition to The Series

This tenth book of the Magical Midlife Death series continues the story from where the last book left off. Raven and Rene, together with the rest of their team, are still dealing with the continuing threats posed by rogue Lycans and vampires. Whilst Rene and Raven leave the city in an attempt to find a mysterious onyx urn, Cass and Constantine are left to deal with the rogue vampires and Lycans who are causing havoc.

As usual, there are unexpected twists and turns. I love this series and I can't wait to see what Tia has in store for us in the next instalment!

The narration by Katie is, as always, excellent.

Trials to come

This is book 10 of Magical Midlife Death and picks up the story where the last book left off. This series has me hooked. It is full suspense, danger and loss. This book builds on the to the plot line. I cannot wait for the next in the series. It does end in a cliffhanger.

This is Magical Midlife Death, Book 10 as well as Return of the King, Book 4. Raven is being targeted by more than just the Lycan king and has to fight for more than just herself in a fallen city. This time she must face a magical test and dark deal in a forgotten realm. But it gets more complex as it tuns out Rene has a history with the dark warlock who runs the forgotten realm. But that is not all, the empowered and purist are also causing problems. Will Raven, Rene and all the vampires prevail or will they find themselves in deeper trouble.
Tia Didmon is an excellent writer who keeps me entertained and waiting to see what is coming next. I enjoyed this series so much I am now listening to the audiobook. It is well worth listening to as Katie Hagaman does a wonderful job narrating the story. She is a delight to listen to. I look forward to reading the next audiobook in this series!

Great audiobook

I really really enjoyed listening to this audiobook this is a really great story great storyline I really enjoyed this very well written audiobook.

Best listened to as an audiobook.

The audiobook is the best way to get this part of the story. I think that this part has the least amount of drama for our lead characters. There is however, more drama in the background with the many enemies we have going on. Even added more.

A World of Grief & A City of the Fallen

Gleeful Goblin Review: In this 10th book of the series we get introduced to a pocket realm called the City of the Fallen that's run by a power mad and self-important, but very powerful, warlock named Valerian. This ends up being a fraught situation because Valerian had Rene in this realm about 400 years prior and so Rene knows what to expect both of the realm and Valerian.

In a realm where he's essentially an immortal and all powerful deity and where everyone in his realm worships at his feet; the only way to gain access is to be something Valerian is interested in, something truly unique. Something like the only empowered witch/vampire alive. But drawing the focus of a powerful and selfish man like Valerian is bad for your health and your freedom. It wouldn't be an installment of this series without plots and intrigue galore. Valerian is only part of the larger plot...and the problem. 5/5 Stars.

Forty Licks and Still Dead Book 10 of Magical Midlife Death series by Tia Didmon is another great addition to this series! A complex and varied storyline, a new world to discover and surprisingly intriguing characters. Narrated by Katie Hagaman who has continued to do a fabulous job in bringing the story to life! I have been loving this series, highly recommend!!

tensions are high when Raven and Rene go to a realm created by a warlock that is curious about Raven. Raven has to fight to get an artifact along with getting out with her and Rene's life.
