Forever Forty: Rise of the Blood Witch

Katie Hagaman does a terrific job in performing this story. Tia Didmon writes absolutely great stories and Katie Hagaman brings it to life!! I enjoyed every second of it!!

A fun, creative, with just a touch of dark listen!

I was on a bit of a slump in this genre, when I picked up this book to listen to. I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to do the book justice and give it a chance. The premise was interesting so I gave it a couple minutes.

I was very quickly won over by the banter, creative side characters and the tease of mystery at every turn (but not in a cozy mystery sort of way). I’m kind of dying to find out everything but also hoping not to find out too soon…

The narrator I thought did an excellent job. There are a lot of fun characters and some of them could be over the top or even annoying. Let’s face it a main character that mainly speaks in monotone could easily be hard on the ears but she hit it right.

I can’t wait for the next book! Thanks for getting me out of my slump!.

witch turned

Raven is attacked by a vampire which should have been the end to her story but it was only the beginning. As she is the first witch to turn, making things even more complicated is the the overseer Rene has claimed her as his. Must read and/or listen.

Great Series Starter

This was a great start to a new series. The character work and story line were well written and I can't wait to see what Tia Didmon has in store for us next.

Katie Hagaman has done a fantastic job of bringing the story to life and made this as fun to listen to as it was to read.

Turned Vamp

You will love this story of Raven a witch dies and comes alive as a vamp. How could a witch turn into a vamp? That is the question. Rene is hot and head vamp. Cass is just funny and loves speaking her mind. I think you will really enjoy reading this story.

If you are looking for a great paced book, this is it. Great characters and a great story line. Already got book 2 so I am off to start that.

I'm hooked

I absolutely loved this book and eager to continue this series. I see that there are still some that are not available yet but I'm ready.

Perfectly 40

Excellent story! I was eager to start book 2, and disappointed I did not have it readily in my queue. I wanted it right away. The author does a great job and before you know it, you’re drawn in. The story is well written. The characters are relatable, and distinct. The narration was excellent. I will be looking for more works by this author! I received a free copy of this audiobook, and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Exciting

This has made me so excited for the rest of the series. A witch becoming Immortal from a vampire attack. I love the sass, danger, excitement, and humor. Raven definitely seems to have a lot in store for her. I can't wait to read what comes next.

The narration brought this story to life even more than the author already had. It was easy to understand and get sucked into.

Amazing characters and wonderful FMC

Loved all the characters. Characters that you loved, characters that you hated, characters that made you suspicious. The story and world building was very interesting, So many factions and not sure who you can trust, what their motivations are…plenty of suspense, humor and intrigue.
