"Forgiveness simply means you accept the person as he is, you still love him the way he is." —Osho

Forgiveness is the thirteenth title in the Osho bestselling Insights for a New Way of Living series.

The popular Insights for a New Way of Living challenges listeners to examine and break free of the conditioned belief systems and the prejudices that limit their capacity to live life in all its richness. The audiobooks shine light on beliefs and attitudes that prevent individuals from being their true selves. The text is an artful mix of compassion and humor, and listeners are encouraged to confront what they would most like to avoid, which in turn provides the key to true insight and power.

This is one of those books that you would have to listen to more than once to really comprehend it completely. A great deal of the book is actually dedicated to looking at Christianity and for good reason because the Christian religion is all about forgiveness. Osho makes it clear in this book that forgiveness is all in your mind, that humans are always looking in the past and not living in the present. That you judge your parents for their treatment of you and yet the way they treated you was the same way they were treated. After he said this I did some reflection and realized he was right, that the very things my parents did to me were similar to the methods their own parents used on them. Essentially it was all done in ignorance in regards to my experience. A lack of awareness, like when they are angry they are not conscious and when they say sorry and do it again it's just politics. It's essentially the concept that they are asleep at the wheel with little to no awareness. He talks about Buddha and his relationship with his parents and how to let them speak their mind and not be so reactive but rather be responsive. Even the story of Adam and Eve where they were kicked out of the garden, Osho mentions that a child rebelling should be embraced because it means they are growing up and if they just do exactly what you tell them all the time than that would not be normal. This was just a small part of what was mentioned in this book. Excellent writing and it shows Osho put a great deal of thought into this book.

Forgiveness is looked at from top to bottom. Anger and disconnection is doing no one any favors.

Another goodie to pass on to friends, family and yourself. Narrator has a hot 🔥 voice, the book is good collection of rafty pointers, you won't need them once it happens all by itself, was always and is popping off spontaneously 🤣 Enjoy Osho, your Self, loving what is, etc no words will do so try these 😆 for a review
