Entertaining

Definitely do not start your journey with the Keeneston community with this book. I hadn't read the series in a while and I still have some catching up to do. Trying to keep up with the updates, family ties, friendships, marriages, etc. was difficult.

As everyone scrambled to give the Rose sisters a surprise birthday party, I realized I had missed a few things while I was immersed in Shadows Landing, lol. I still found the narration to be good and the book to be humorous and entertaining.

great book as always

Love listening to Eric reading these books! I wish Keeneston was a real place to go visit. Such a wonderful place to get lost for a few hours.

Recommended

A sweet novella featuring the whole Keeneston, KY crew. The Rose sisters are turning 100 years old. The whole town is together for the party. Lots is catching up, reminiscent moments and hints of secrets.

This story does not stand alone and should be read in order of the series.

you can skip this one

it doesn't really further the character development, it gets fairly confusing because all the "kids"are called home and it needs to come with a town family tree to try to keep them all untangled. I still enjoy the series, just not this book.
