An enjoyable read

I really liked this book and the breakdown of each Apollo flight. I also enjoyed the chapters on the Russian space program, i found those really interesting.

Outstanding recounting of the Apollo program, its prime characters, and the Russian competition. Shame so many have passed without seeing a return to exploration beyond low earth orbit.

a little boring

The book that kept me at the edge of my seat was "rocket men". This one was a lot of biography stuff. It has good, fascinating information, it's just watered down with a lot of boring stuff in my opinion.

Please correct in future audio book

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audiobook. I liked it for the technical details. However, the constant referring to Air Force Base as "AFB" instead of Air Force Base is a detail that should not have been overlooked. This one detail for me continued to detract from the excellent detail this book encompasses.
