Just a really lovely story!

Just a really lovely story! This just drew me in and is filled with ups and downs but it really just got to me. I hoped and wished for certain characters to have the strength to overcome. Finding out the reasons for the behavior was interesting. I REALLY want to give a SMACKDOWN to a certain guy but then I thought it might apply to a certain female as well for overlooking. Speaking of the characters I enjoyed and liked each one. They have spunk, tenacity and loyalty.

I get the feeling that this isn’t the first along this line. There were numerous character we met up with and they all had stories. I did listen to this on audio. This is a first time listen to me with Thurlow Holmes and Dash Coleman. Each was enjoyable to listen to.

amazing listen

I love how the narrators bring Elle and Blake to life and this book was absolutely amazing with Dash as Blake , he has the perfect voice that brings blake's attitude out. and the sweet voice of Thurlow is sweet and soft like you would imagine Elle's being . I loved listening to Fixation can not wait for Nicole's next book to become audible.

Good Story

The story is about an Addict and college student that are both fighting for what they think they want. The story is good and is a little different from the typical boy meets girl. I would have liked a little more backround story about what makes these two but it did keep my attention. The female narrator's voice irritated me some. The male narrator was good overall.
I would definitely recommend this book overall.

Blake & Elle

Such an emotional rollercoaster for these two! I loved the chemistry between Blake & Elle. Some times you have to take the beaten path to get to your happily ever after and sometimes you need someone to drag you kicking and screaming. Both Blake and Elle needed to discover things and be honest with themselves in order to grow and I loved watching it happen for both of them. Thank you for bringing me into their world!

Blake & Ellie Fixation

Fixation is a rare graphical lovestory that is not just about the glitter and the glam, but the peaks and valleys. Characters are compelling with personalities that are flawed. Supporting characters enhance the impact of the story. I loved the epilogue bringing the Fixation to an end.

Narators Dash Coleman and Thurlow Holmes dual narration was impeccable. Ellie and Blake’s emotions were well embodied through Dash and Thurlow. Excellent naration.

A Must Read/Listen

Fixation by Nicole Dykes is a contemporary romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Thurlow Holmes and Dash Coleman.

This is the first book of Nicole’s that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. Nicole did an amazing job on the storyline. I loved the chemistry between Blake and Elle. Their story will take you on an emotional roller coaster but you can’t help but root for them.

Thurlow and Dash did an amazing job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this book if you love Contemporary Romance.

Loved it!

Nicole can spin an amazing emotional story. Blake is a rich boy that loved his parties and a fix. Elle was a hard working gal that wanted all her ducks in a row. They say that opposite attracts. Well, we shall see!
Thurlow and Dash do a fine job of narrating it. They will hold your interest right to the end.

Absolutely PERFECT!

This book has so much raw emotion poured through the pages. Blake and Elle’s love story did not come easy. It came with angst, lust and a lot of heartache. These two were like magnets. They couldn’t be near each other without giving into their desires. These two characters were far from perfect but were utterly perfect for each other. The road they took was heartbreaking at times but in the end so worth it. The narrators really brought this book to life!! One of my all time FAVORITES❤️

Better than the first time!

This was my first book I read by Nicole and it took me into being a huge fan. I loved the book the first time but listening to it just brought Blake and Elle to life even more to me! Blake’s voice was right on point to me! Elle wasn’t what I pictured her sounding like but as I got through the first few chapters Thurlow grew on me too.

Now the story: Blakes I don’t give a shit attitude, breeze through this boring life facade makes you want to dig in and see what has made him that way. Elle has that book boyfriends are better than real boyfriends take on life that many women do. Together you can see if they are able to see true meaning in their lives. Such an incredible book and if you haven’t read the Monroe’s as well you can totally go back and see about all the side characters mentioned, but it’s also great on its own!

Loved Blake

Wow. This story is about forgiveness, love, amazing characters and chemistry. I hated Blake but, also loved him at the same time. Loved it.
