Love the story and the narrators totally kept me engaged! I had already read the book and really enjoyed the Audible

I loved a lot of things about the story. Great character and relationship development. Good story line but not exciting. Just needed some more interesting plot points. But it was good. It was real. I don’t regret reading it. The narrators were perfect.

Also the author let it be known that Blake wasn’t perfect - many flaws from her childhood upbringing that she overcame

This book gave me all the feels, sass, spice, and a Scotsman who knows how to make an entrance. Dair and Blake have been circling each other since childhood thanks to their parents’ friendship, but they never vibed, until Blake’s sister’s wedding flips the script.💃💍
Suddenly, they’re seeing each other in a whole new light, and it’s delicious.

Dair? Total dreamboat. Confident, charming, and straight-up swoon-worthy.😍 He sees Blake for who she really is and doesn’t hesitate to dive in.
Blake’s been through it trauma, judgment, and a reputation that follows her like a shadow. But she’s cheeky, headstrong, and has layers that Dair peels back with care and heat.🔥
And speaking of heat, whew.🌶😳 These two light up the sheets like it’s their full-time job. The spice is intense, but it’s balanced with real emotion.
There’s grief, healing, and a twist that lets the River Rain crew show up and show out. Found family vibes.💖
Hale, still obsessed. Just saying. While the plot leaned heavily on the parental drama, the pacing was smooth, and the emotional payoff was worth it.
🎧 And let me tell you, Alexander Dunham-Wood and Tillie Hooper were perfectly cast for these characters. Their narration brought Dair and Blake to life with depth, sass, and soul. Total ear candy.

Outstanding as Always

Didn’t think I’d like Blake’s story but Alister was perfect for her. Love she found out she was lovable.

It was OK. Definitely not stellar

The storyline was ok. There were points when Dare's accent wasn't believable, which ruined continuity.

Not sure how she keeps writing the best books!!

Absolutely love this book. Laughed, cried, smiled, worried, hoped, and fell in love. The writing is impeccable. Details, but not 6 pages on the color of a shirt. Back story’s laid out to perfection. Was so sad when the book was over!!
