Emotional and riveting

After reading the novella Maybe It’s You I couldn’t wait to jump in to Finally You. I was intrigued by Nydia and Manelik (Mane) Cantu and their second chance at love story was so good. I love small town romances and I could easily see myself in Luna Harbor.

I really felt for both Nydia and Mane; so much time and missed opportunities have passed them by. They never had the closure that they both needed, anger kept them apart. Now he is back, could they re kindle the love they once shared? Further complicating matters is that Mane is now a famous rock star and he and his band mates have a new bar, right next door to Nydia.

This was a fun, steamy listen with characters whose story you cannot help but become invested in. The characters were easy to relate to and I really liked them separately and especially together. Nydia is such an independent, strong woman and one I really admire.

Narrated by Noah B Perez and Stephanie Nemeth Parker both who are new to me I found myself hooked on their performances. They brought the passion and angst and all the emotions to their narration and there were times I was moved to tears with the pain and anguish that they went through.

It’s such a fine line between love and hate and as much as they want to hate one another, it is obvious to those around them that the spark of love is still there. Can they come to terms with the past and in doing so find the love and happiness that they deserve?

11 Bad years with a HEA

Nylia and Manelik' were best friends for years, became lovers and then a misunderstanding caused them both to feel rejected and devastated. We know the difficulties that Nylia has been struggling with for years. She comes from a highly dysfunctional family and she's barely keeping her head above water.

Manelik, on the other hand is from a large family and he's now a very successful drummer for a famous rock band, along with another profession that was touched on a few times. He's wealthy and has connections.

I love Claudia Burgoa stories and she's a very talented author. The story was very good, as was the narration by two different actors. I was frustrated that these two characters just didn't talk to each other when granted multiple opportunities. Although this is a stand alone book, it might be better to have read the previous book in the series, Maybe it's you. I'm planning to go back and read that one next.

FINALLY YOU is Manelik and Nydia's story and the first book in the Luna Harbor series.

Manelik and Nydia were childhood sweethearts until one night changed their entire worlds. Manelik is back in Luna Harbor and when it becomes impossible to avoid Nydia, he becomes determined to repair what they once had.

I enjoyed the book as a whole and was happy when Manelik and Nydia finally got their closure and were able to move forward together. I did feel a little lost while reading as I have not read a lot of the backlist of books and Nydia did get under my skin a little with her refusal to communicate. I am interested to see what happens next in Luna Harbor.

Noah B. Perez and Stephanie Nemeth-Parker both did a great job of bringing the characters and the story to life. This was my first by Noah B. Perez and I am looking forward to listening to more by him.

I'm loving this new series of Luna Harbor by Claudia Burgoa, especially when it's interconnected with characters found in her other books. Mane and Nydia's story is one that is full of heartbreak and forgiveness. This is the epitome of a small-town, second-chance romance that will keep you wholly captivated. The narration by Noah B. Perez and Stephanie Nemeth Parker is superbly done. Finally You by Claudia Burgoa is an EPIC audiobook that will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!

Fabulous Story & Narration🎧Riveting & Heartfelt!

This is a fantastic second chance, small town romance and I loved everything about it, from Claudia Burgoa’s wonderful writing style to the fabulous characters and storylines to the perfect cast narrators who bring it all to life from the page to your ears. The story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it the entire time. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to and connect with, they are easy to care about too. Nydia Vega-Knapp runs and lives on Lavender Moon Farms, when her grandparents ran the farm, it was called the Knapp Family. Nydia harvests Lavender and makes different products with it, which she sells online and in her store in town. She struggles financially because of the debt her grandparents left her and, as much as she would love to, but can not afford to expand her business. Then a lawyer from Seattle, Byron A. Langdon, offers her a business deal, he wants to rent her house, not her guest house but the one she lives in. It was not something she considered doing but it would help her financially, so she says yes. She was not expecting her ex, Manelik “Mane” Cantú, the love of her love who broke her heart when he left, became a famous rock star and ghosted her. Mane’s grandfather is sick and he and his family will run things for him in Luna Harbor, Mane’s bandmates are joining him there since they are his family too. Their manager, Lang, went there ahead of time to secure them a place to live and it surprised Mane he found a house large enough to accommodate them all, even more surprised that it was his ex’s grandparent’s home. He thought he could avoid her while he was staying in Luna Harbor, how wrong he was, not only is she living on the same property, but her business is next to his grandfathers. There is so much unsaid between these two, neither one wants to talk about it and the tension between them could be cut with a knife. And as much angst there is between them, there is chemistry and unresolved feelings, despite being worlds apart. This wonderfully plotted story is multilayered and there is plenty of drama, angst, a touch of charm and humor to lighten things up, heartfelt emotions and years in the making and meant to be romance. Claudia Burgoa, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧 📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Noah B. Perez and Stephanie Nemeth Parker are superbly talented narrators and versatile voice artists. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, give each a voice that fits their character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable in every role they played and just as I pictured the characters to sound. Nemeth Parker nailed it as Nydia and Perez did the same for Mane, they captured all of their emotions and had you feeling every single one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their narration enhances an already amazing story to another level. Thank you for this exceptional listen.
