Excellent Series

I swear every one of Kathleen Brooks, Bluegrass books were excellent. What a pleasure it is to read or listen to any of these books. This particular book was right on the mark. Absolutely love the interaction of all the characters in the whole series. Love all of the people but really love the kickass attitude and ability of Annie and Bridget. Together with Ahmed they were unbeatable. Gee really hate to see this series end. But will be waiting for anything else written by Ms. Brooks. And do hope they will be narrated by Eric G. Dove.

AWESOME!!!

I LOVE ALL of the "Bluegrass " series!! I recommend getting the Romance Package to listen to Eric G. Dove's narration, and using credits for this series. The " Rose " sisters, aka the "Fairy Godmothers " steal the show. They are delightful as are the other members of Keeneston Kentucky.
Kathleen Brooks is now one of my favorite authors. I can't wait to listen to more of her audiobooks.
Enjoy! 😄

What a fun series!

This series is full of great characters. Kathleen Brooks focuses on each of the Davies brothers in their careers and the challenges they face as they fall in love. The Rose sisters and other town characters are a hoot! I suggest listening to the series in order, starting with her Bluegrass series before her Bluegrass Brothers series. I look forward to listening to the continuation of the happenings of Keengston Kentucky in the other series.

Recommended

Finally, Ahmed gets his happy ending & it is worthy of him. The past couple stories in this series seemed just a bit off or maybe the word is forced. Final Vow had me remembering the quality storytelling Ms. Brooks brought to the table at the start. There are a couple inconsistencies from previous stories but nothing earth shattering.

This story along with most of the others can stand on its own but really should be read in series order.

Ahmed's story

Was so happy that Ahmed's story was finally told. He deserved to be happy after looking out for all the townsfolk of Keeneston. A beautiful and fitting conclusion to the series.

horrible narrator

Love the series... great books ruined here by narrator. I just wish they had found someone with a real southern accent to read them:(

Love and hate

Love can lead to hate. But love can also triumph over hate. Ahmed's story, like Cy's, was always going to be fabulous and I had impatiently waited for it. But oh, with it came so many tears and disappointment and anger.
And then that fabulous Marcy Davies stepped up and with a whisper of shared jail time - Bluegrass Dawn, y'all - saved Ahmed.
In true Keenston fashion everyone stepped up and in one way or another helped to bring Ahmed home.
An emotional roller coaster ride from beginning till end, this was definitely worth the wait.
