The feels

This story hit me in the feels, the MMC backstory was heart breaking and to see him fight his demons was sad. This story was beautiful and it was good to see the other couples from the previous book as well. This series has found family vibes, loving and supportive group of friends. The character development was good and it was just so sweet. I teared up a few times.

Narration was great as well!

Nikki Ash always blows me away. This has probably been my favorite, not only of this series but of all the books I’ve read of hers so far. This was pulling all sorts of emotions out of me- anger, fear, excitement, love, etc. any book that can pull that many emotions out of me is an automatic 5⭐️. Such a fantastic story.

Hayley has had a crush on Caleb for a while now, since he and his friends moved to Vegas and started MMA training at the gym that she’s a sports medicine doctor at. But Caleb’s past has kept him at arms length. Both Caleb and Hayley have an attachment towards the twelve year old, Marco, who comes to the gym and trains in the kids’ program to stay off the streets. Unfortunately the streets still find their way into his life, and in an attempt to save him from a bad situation, Caleb finds himself in some trouble. Hayley decides to take both Caleb and Marco in and the more time she spends with both of them, the more she realizes how much she loves them and she can’t let them go.

Lexi and Vincent did an incredible job with the narration and the storytelling. This was the first I’d heard a Vincent Skye narration but he did so good! And Lexi did amazing as per usual! She brings so much emotion to the characters that she’s a perfect choice for the books Nikki writes!

CCaleb and Hayley are a perfect fit and FINALLY

Caleb....wow. I knew his story would hurt and break my heart...but this I wasn't expecting. I wish I could say the fact these things happen surprised me, but I don't live in rose colored glasses land like too many in this country do. I know there are evil, sick individuals out there torturing and forever damaging humans who deserve better with their utter depravity. So, that's my soap box warning for the bad things that occur in this story. But it was an amazing story...of overcoming, found family, champions in your corner, and finding what you deserve from life instead of settling for mediocre. Caleb and Hayley are a perfect fit and FINALLY they get there. And with acton, danger, and edge of your seat suspense keeping me on my toes, this story was everything I needed from it. And the amazing narration by Lexi Evans and Vincent Skye's brought the story from the pages.

omg, this book was really good. I have to say that this is my favorite book in the series. It broke my heart hearing his story and how he was treated when he was a teen. but I am glad he found Haylie, and let's not forget little man. I love how they became a family. But omg when they got taken I was so scared for them and mad 😠 at Caleb. But he made up for it in the end. 5 star's all the way baby⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. The narrator's did such a good job too.

I have been waiting for Caleb's story since we first met him. I knew something had to have happened to him for him to be that closed off. And his story did not disappoint. It definitely became my favorite in the series so far. I couldn’t stop listening to it from beginning to end. He has been through so much my heart hurt for him. I loved seeing him get his HEA

I got this on audio. The narrators did such a great job. I really enjoyed them.

Deliciously dangerous!

This installment makes binging the entire series worth it! Not that they weren’t all good on their own, but this one packed a lot of suspense and danger and was utterly heart-wrenching for so many reasons. Very, very well done and the build during books 1 & 2 into this one was delicious.

Loving this series!

Nikki Ash is an excellent author. I am loving this series. We get each couple's standalone story, but then get to see the characters in each other's books because of this heartwarming friend group/found family storyline. And Caleb and Hayley’s story Broke. My. Heart. Trigger Warning: Childhood s*xual abuse. I almost got sick, physically. I ugly cried. I was angry, sick, and heartbroken for Caleb. There was a short time I was frustrated with Hayley's actions, but I got over it pretty quickly. These books just get better and better.

Vincent Skye and Lexi Evans are excellent narrators! I love their smooth voices. They brought this audiobook to life with emotional performances that had it rolling like a movie in my head. It was perfection.

Love it

Caleb and Haley’s story is one that I have been waiting for and this doesn’t disappoint.
Caleb’s tortured past has left him closed off. He is slow to trust women because of it.
Haley is interested in Caleb but he doesn’t know if he could let her know of his past
This is a heartbreaking, suspenseful story of finding love and hope.
Another amazing story in this series by Nikki Ash
Lexi Evan’s and Vincent Skye gives an emotional performance in this audio. Very well done.

An Addicting, Heart wrenching, Steamy MMA Sports Romance I couldn’t stop listening to!

I couldn’t stop listening to Caleb and Haley’s story, I was intrigued from the first chapter. The narrators did a fantastic job of bringing these characters to life and all the emotions that come with there story. This is an Angsty,emotional sports MMA romance with a good amount steam! I love Nikki’s writing style, every book I’ve done by her so far I’ve loved!

This book blew me away. From the very beginning, it tore my heart out. It was one thing after another. Caleb lived such an unfair, terrible life that no adolescent should. It forced him to grow up way too fast and caused him to have severe trust issues with women. He may be a rugged, strong man on the outside, but inside, Caleb is broken and insecure. All he needs is love to put him back together.

Haley has had a crush on Caleb for a while but stops pursuing him when he shows no outward interest.

But an unfortunate situation involving a kid in a tough situation puts Haley and Caleb into a forced proximity, where they must co-inhabit for….reasons.

Haley is selfless and kind and sweet. And Caleb can’t deny his attraction to her for long, but does she have what it takes to break down his walls?

The dual narration with Lexi Evans and Vincent Skye was absolutely amazing. They really captured the tone of the story and the heart of the characters. Definitely recommend the audiobook!
