Interesting twist to the story

The story grabs your attention right after first couple of chapters and never lets it go. I found it hard to stop listening and looked forward to the end. A happy end thank goodness.
However, at the beginning I found the voice reading the story to be irritating. I especially disliked her tone of the voice for Lia - the main character of 45 years old - sounding like a teenager. The voice was missing the depth and maturity for some characters . But I got used to it and in the end it wasn't so bad after all.
Read it or listen to it, your choice - you would still like this book.

Entertaining

My first Heather McVra book. A good mystery and a good romance. Great balance of both. Can't wait for another Audio Book from Heather!

Most Fabulous Book

What made the experience of listening to Fallen Elements the most enjoyable?

This is a wonderful listen. I was sad when it ended as I was so engrossed in the story line. The girl gets the girl, there is magic and wonderful characters superbly played by the narrator. This is a hidden treasure. Please read as you will be delighted. BTW, it's not just for lesbians but readers who love romance, intrigue, magic and happy endings.
I was looking for lesbian romance so I entered "lesbian". The list has 107 pages comprised of at least 100 pages of gay (men) books. Terrible sorting by Audible.
This was hidden around page 70.
Who was your favorite character and why?

Nicole

Have you listened to any of Sarah Grace Wright’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I want more books from this lady.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I loved it.

Excellent writing

This one head me every second of the way. Ending is a bit of a disappointment, but will worth the ride. One of the best genre books out there. Characters and situations are ones you know in your own life, and ones you love! Shot back and watch the story come together.

Suprisingly good

I am not a fantasy fan, but the story is engaging and the fantasy part is minimal so it only helped the story to move on and be more interesting.
I loved it, the characters are well developed the narrations is very good.

Enjoyed it greatly

This is not your normal girl gets girl, girl losses girl, and girl tries to get girl back. Is a story within why I details that lead to some twist and some epic turns. It's more supernatural then sci-fi. It doesn't end when you think it does prologue is part of the ending listen allllll the way. I plan to read the sequel now.

A thoroughly addictive, engrossing & fulfilling [audio] book

What I consider to be a good book is that you are interested in from the start, This book does that from the! start to the very end, amd a good narrator completes the enjoyment.
It's a great listen, so I give 5stars

Not your obvious mystery

I got this book on a low choice week and then I didn't listen for ages. Numpty that I am this is a gem of a book. There are annoying moments when I wanted the main characters to be more assertive but it all builds into the sense of being at the whim of others. Now I know that last sentence will annoy some but... No spoilers here. Buy it listen to it and then hope there's a sequel.
