I don't want to say much more, I don't like giving spoilers. Book is excellent - more exploring of this world and we dive deeper into the characters. If you've only seen True Blood and not read the books, you're missing a lot of the story.

This series is magical. The narration is very well done. Recommended!!

Great Book! Too Short!

As usual, this Sookie Stackhouse series book does not disappoint. The narration is spot on, in fact, she is one of the best narrators I've ever heard. Couple talent with a good plot and you've got a great story. Don't want to say too much and spoil the experience...it is worth the read. Wish it was longer for the credit!!! In fact, I gave it only 4 stars because.....it really should be lengthier!

I listen to books while I do repetative keying and love books like this that keep me interested.

good narrator great story

Has anyone else noticed that the story skips on chapter 6 at One Hour 3 minutes and 30 seconds?

Excellent Series

I've been reading these books for some years now and I still love to re-read them. Great story line with something always happening to keep you hooked in the story line I don't have cable so I haven't had a chance to check out the TV show yet although I want to. The audio is great, no problems with it. I'm in my car a lot and don't get to read much anymore so the audio books are a great way for me to catch up.

Would you listen to Club Dead again? Why?

Yes I would...it seemes that the books in the series keep improving. I like Eric being more intergrated into the story and I love Alcides character.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character is Eric, he is ruthless, funny, charismatic,he struggles with human emotions and it is obvious that he is in love with Sookie

What does Johanna Parker bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I do like the narrator, she has improved the story by getting accents right and reading clearly, but she does read too quickly at all times, not only when the story is at an exciting part. She needs to slow down the pace.

If you could take any character from Club Dead out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Eric, he would be nice to look at, he would not cost much because he would only drink true blood and it would be interesting to pick his brain about his life. It would be curious to see the interactions of his emotions to a dinner date.The book series is getting better with every read.

The book series is getting better with every read. It is very surprising how different the HBO series and the books are. The books are far better.

Tiny gripe

I'm a huge fan of this series, as I've already read the entire thing completely years ago. This is my first time listening and I've noticed that this book (along with others in the series), the chapters listed don't match up with the chapters narrated. For example, you may look at this book and see 7 chapters, but as it is narrated it goes well above 7 chapters which makes it hard when trying to pinpoint which chapter you are on without a bookmark. Small gripe, I know, but I figured I would mention it.

Weres, vamps, and telepaths oh my! This book is just plain fun and my personal favorite of the series.

Love these book Narrator does an amazing job!! I also really like that they include small recaps throughout the story making it easier to remember what happened in previous books!
