Publisher's Summary

Defeat supervillains, develop a harem, and save the universe.

It’s all in a day’s work for Quincy Fletcher, a down-on-his luck security guard whose life is turned upside down after he accidentally kills one of the galaxy’s worst bad guys.

Confronted by a mysterious woman named Aurora, Quincy learns that he’s now a marked man. Going on the run to escape the associates of the villain he killed, he accompanies Aurora to Fiasco Heights, a sexy, dangerous city on a parallel world dominated by the good, the bad, and the pleasure-seeking.

Once there, Quincy’s recruited into an underground team called “The Shadow Catchers”, a group of superheroes who’ve dedicated their lives to saving the city. Quincy soon discovers that he possesses superhuman abilities, which he’ll need as he battles supervillains, dragons, synthetic warriors, and the Harbinger, Fiasco Height’s most dangerous bad guy, who’s hell-bent on destroying the universe.

Warning: This is a cinematic harem audiobook that shares much in common with a comic book or graphic novel. Do not buy this audiobook if you like the fade-to-black style or if the idea of listening to a thrilling story bulging with frenetic high-action, heroes, villains, hot superheroines, explosions, and a harem of lovely ladies turns you off. For everyone else - yes, this means you - what are you waiting for? Get the audiobook and enjoy!

Even a good narrator can't fix terrible writing

Even a good narrator cannot fix terrible writing. Chris Graves is unquestionably the best thing this book has going for it. He is truly a talented narrator, which he demonstrates profoundly in this book, as he is the only reason I could finish it. Fiasco Heights suffers from many things from bland and indistinct characters to very little in the way of story. I know that this book never claimed to be anything other than a fun romp through a fantasy world with a harem, but the writing was simply too poor for it to be enjoyable. For example, Zack Archer tied to used phrases like: “and then it happen” about every other page as a way to increase suspense, which I found exceedingly annoying. Overall, I will not be reading any other books by Zack Archer, however I will be keeping my eyes open for more books narrated by Chris Graves. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Almost continuous action

Once it gets started, it seldom stops. Then again, it's about superheroes. The voices were good - one would almost think it was a whole ensemble doing the narration. I was given a free review copy audiobook at my request by the narrator and have voluntarily left this review.

Such a dope story!

First off, let me just say how thankful I am that both books were in this. I would’ve lost my mind, up in here, up in here, if I had to wait. This story was not only epic, but also because of Chris Graves’ narration, it was captivating and relatable! I try to avoid any spoilers in all my reviews, so let me just end with this... you need to listen, like ASAP!

Not Harem.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Background is explained quickly and simply and makes it believable. With this being a bundle of 2 books it's fairly long which is really amazing of the author! I deffinetly want more! Also when it downloaded in 2 parts it split perfectly at the end of the book which was very satisfying. And the narrator does a great job. Only cons is there's no Harem. Just a guy who likes sex in a world where woman don't ask for a commitment.

Chris Graves Is Awesome

The story is definitely original to the Superhero and Supervillain approach. I instantly pulled into the world building and the non stop action. The best was the narrator. Chris Graves does an excellent job and definitely brings out the characters in the story. He is or of my favorite narrators out there. Action Packed Story... Fun Listen

"I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review." What an action packed story, almost continuous in fact. I found this an interesting take on the super hero genre. The writing was fun and entertaining; casual in a fun way. The main character was uniquely cocky, even when circumstances weren’t such that he should be. His co-stars were well developed and unique. I’ve enjoyed another book by this author, his writing and narratives work for me. There is some NSFW activity, but I didn’t find it over the top. As has been mentioned before, this isn’t a traditional harem story, but that’s not something that troubled me. Speaking of narration... Chris Graves is awesome as always. I seek out projects he’s involved with and haven’t been let down yet! His voice really adds to the overall experience. I’m a big fan.

Not for me

I really really tried to like this book. I am not really sure what it was but it didn't grab me like other books have at the beginning. I stuck with it for a while, made it past 6 hours but could not finish it. Chris Graves is a good narrator so I don't think he was the issue. I just felt nothing for the characters or the world he was building. If you truly enjoy it then that's great but if you want something better and along the lines of this type of material you should check out The Shadow Master and The Technomancer Novels series. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

fairly typical harem

it's a somewhat threadbare story, with little originality, but it's strung together adequately to be entertaining. the sex stuff could easily have been left out and the story would have been better for it... Chris is

Super hero action!!

I really enjoyed this story, it starts as your typical nobody becoming the big hero but you get over that once things get going. It has an interesting set of characters with abilities different to what you may expect. The narration is done to a high standard and allows to to get absorbed into the story. If you like action or superhero stories then you will love this. Please note that I was given a free copy of this audiobook to provide a non-biased review
