I did not expect that!

I was so excited to get this book and at first I was feeling slightly disappointed, but I’m glad I stuck with it because I can now firmly say it is a five star gave him an emotional roller coaster ride with lots of twists and turns and a moment or a few, I should say of you getting tangled up in your feelings and a promise of an ugly cry. I will forever love this series. People can trash it all they want. No it is not red queen no it is not the hunger games. This is a story all of own Kai Ezra will forever be one of my most favorite book characters one of my favorite favorite book boyfriends! Peyton and Gray is a great representation of finding strength within yourself. When people tell you you can’t do something you show them oh yes, I can! Lauren Roberts did a fantastic job this book.

Incredible narration to pair with a beautiful story.

It has been a long time since I have read something so beautifully done. The performance truly brought it to life. I will be swooning, and grieving over this book for years to come. Truly incredible.

Surprising twist

It did not end the way I thought it would. Definitely took a dark turn that I wasn’t expecting. With a twist I didn’t see coming. I usually see twists, but this one definitely caught me off guard. Narration was amazing.

The Best in the Series

I wasn’t certain how much I would like the Powerless trilogy. I found the first book a bit of a difficult read with a plot line similar to The Hunger Games, little character development, and adjective heavy repetitive writing. I cannot say how much of a 360 this final book in the series is. 100% more captivating with much improved writing, interesting twists, secrets, and betrayals. I’m so glad I decided to continue on with the series.

I have never been so pleasantly surprised by how good a book is! I’ve laughed, been so distraught (it would take a lot for me to cry) and my jaw has dropped several times! This book was SO good.

I’m unsure how I feel about this ending. It feels so unfinished for some reason.

The best book I’ve ever read

This shattered my heart in the best way. The story was so beautiful and concluded in the best and most fulfilling way. This series tops everything. Kai and Paedyns story deserve every praise.

Can’t get enough!!

I cannot say enough good things about this book series! From start to finish, I was completely hooked. The story is packed with action, emotion, and just the right amount of romance—it pulled me in and never let go. The characters are so well-developed and real that I felt every twist and turn right alongside them. The chemistry between them was everything I could’ve hoped for and more.
What really brought it all to life for me were the narrators. Both the male and female voice actors did an amazing job—each emotion, each moment, was delivered perfectly. They added so much depth and personality to the characters. I found myself completely immersed and couldn’t stop listening.
If you’re looking for a series that has heart, action, romance, and unforgettable characters, this is it. I’m already tempted to start it all over again!
