Publisher's Summary

The future isn’t real.

The past isn’t real, either.

Only the present is, solid and full, flying at our faces, our bodies, our hearts and souls at breakneck speed as we work to take it all in.

As we work to protect others. And, finally - ourselves.

We’ve started to break the bonds of Stateless, a system as rotten as the one it seeks to destroy. But systems are organisms with one brutal goal: to survive, whatever it takes.

Kina has to do the unfathomable to save a different system, one she created out of empathy and love for children we rescued from the only home they know.

She’ll use her mind, her body, her spirit - and her ultimate weapons: love, and -

Me.

I enjoyed listening to this book. There were a lot of twists and turns. Betrayal. Kills. Family rivalry. Great story that was very well written. Including the narrators they did not disappoint. Hope you will enjoy this as much as I did.

I need MORE

My first series by Meli Raine has left me wanting more. More because I enjoyed it, most definitely. But also because I feel like there should be more. The ending kinda left me hanging with the big picture. We see Kina and Callum get to safety...I think. Maybe going back to read/listen to the previous books will help? Since I'm totally invested in the characters and with the storyline, I hope another series is coming to tie it all up!

Once again, Joe Arden and Andi Arndt are masterful narrators. These books are running like a movie in my head. Great performances!

Thrilling

Everything from the first to books is amped up as the triliogy come to a close. The suspense, danger and manipulation hit a fever pitch as Kinna and Callium do everything they can to figure out who they are while keeping the people they care about safe, This series is intertwined with a few other books/series of the author. Those characters come back and play important roles in this. While I was able to follow along and keep up I would very much like to go back and read those books. I think we will see more from this world and I am so excited,

Honestly Andi Arndt and Joe Arden are the best. hey can read soup ingredients and I would listen for hours.

If you haven't listened to the first two in the series please go back and start there you will be so glad you did.

The future isn’t real...
The past isn’t real, either...
Only the present is solid and full...

A breathless read which such a satisfying ending to a great series.

Oh, holy hell! These narrators are so brilliant and so flippin' fantastic that you just want to listen to them the whole day.

Damn!

Holy wow...what an ending!

The wild ride we've been on through this trilogy finally comes to a head and (mostly) everything is answered, but not before giving us more questions. There is only so much I can say without giving it all away, but I'll say this: don't wait, listen now!

Andi and Joe knocked it out of the park! They are easily some of the best anyway, but this was a new level even for them!

The Stateless Series

I think that all three books in the Stateless series were well done. Things in my mind are still left unfinished but I can understand and appreciate. It feels like it leaves it open form more side stories with new main characters. I do however wish that all three books were combined into one. I think that with some editing this could have all been condensed. Overall a good read.

Psychologically thrilling!

Talk about a psychological thriller! Wow these books had my head spinning! I was so into it!!

The stateless are ruthless and the things they have been through are intense to say the least. I was totally invested, the mindf**kery with this series was legit. Who to trust, what really happened, how many people are bad/good, the questions were endless but the answers were even more shocking! I mean the amount of infiltration was surprising. The amount of betrayal was unnerving and the fact that things weren't as they seem was hard to process. I mean my heart was hurting for Kina and Callum and all the children. The way their lives panned out was hard to read. The things they had to do, learn, and accept were sad, intense, and just disgusting at times. I was seriously blown away with the psychological warfare this book provoked in me. This writer is phenomenal I have read her books before and they are always good but this series was her best work in my opinion.

Joe Arden and Andi Arndt did wonderful with the narration, they brought Callum and Kina to life! They really nailed the emotions with everything going on.

I have been so enamored with this trilogy! Meli Raine is a writer who tells amazing stories. Callum and a Keena finally get away.. but at what cost? I loved this book! Yo did out what the cost is... you NEED to listen to all three! You won’t regret it!!

And I Arndt and Joe Arden are fantastic... two of my very favorites!

Romantic Suspense

Fateless by Meli Raine is a romantic suspense that I listened to on audio narrated by Joe Arden and Andi Arndt. This is the final book in the Stateless trilogy.

This is the first series of Meli’s that I have listened to and it definitely won’t be my last. She did a wonderful job wrapping up this series. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Kina and Callum over the series.

Joe and Andi did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like romantic suspense, military romance, or psychological thrillers.

I need a moment to catch my breath

This series has been so captivating, I needed a break before I listened to another book. Each book was more suspenseful than the next. Fateless has it all. The twists and shocking turns, had me on the edge of my seat. I could not stop listening because I just had to know what was going to happen next. Kina and Callum really had to work hard for everything they wanted and that just added to the drama. The chemistry between Callum and Kina really shines in this installment. This is one series I highly recommend.

Joe Arden and Andi Arndt kept this series consistent with their narration. They brought each character to life. I could tell they connected with the characters and made Kina and Callum become more like friends than just a storybook person. Joe and Andi compliment each other and make an amazing narrating team.

It’s a mystery inside a mystery inside a mystery

What a way to end this trilogy! Finally Kina works in the field, and she’s as good as everybody–anybody that counts anyway–thought she would be. Some of the secrets unravel, while others appear. It’s a mystery inside a mystery inside a mystery.

There’s still some action–and oh so important–but there’s a lot of talking. At times, it was a bit boring. And it concerned various characters that actually came from other series, though most of their backstory was explained. It was still difficult to empathize with them. At the same time, it made me want to read other Meli Raine books, so I suppose it was well done.

The writing keeps being good. There’s a tiny bit of poetry in those books, and a lot of thoughts about the world, and the human mind. It’s very interesting.

Perfect narration still, I highly recommend listening to this trilogy instead of reading it.

Final installment to a great exciting series

This is an exciting, fantastic series full of intrigue. This final installment is constantly moving at light speed and we get to see some of the other characters from prior series. Kina and Callum are now in the fight for their lives (and the lives of the people and children around them) and they need to enact a plan that affects people in power all the way up to the highest office of the land. There's always the question of who is good and who is not!

I listened to the audiobook and Andi Arndt and Joe Arden narrate. They were fantastic, elevating this story to a great experience. I think this is my favorite series by Meli Raine.

Bravo!!!!

Dead!! Now that was a fantastic trilogy!! I feel like we might be getting some mote continuing connected series. Mostly everything was wrapped up tightly in a bow but there's still some dangling threads that I hope Meli Raine either snips off or tucks away but I still have a few outlying questions. I'm hoping we'll get more answers. This has got to be one of Melia Raine's best romantic suspense stories yet. The characters were so complex, the story was way more twisted than a country road. I'm currently rocking a book hangover and really hoping we get some spinoff from this trilogy!

These two narrators can do no wrong in my eyes! I love them together and consistently enjoy their portrayals of the various characters they play. This story is layered and drenched in doubt and misdirection. Joe Arden is Cullum now and I'm slightly obsessed. Andi Arndt is one of the best female narrators out there currently. Her voice always works for the woman she's presenting. She seems to channel them flawlessly. She became Kina. Kina transformed into this strong and take no nonsense woman. I loved feeling the growth through Ms. Arndt's portrayal!
