Love Zodiac but struggling with the constant downers!

I love this series and have listened to it all so far, but after this one I’m undecided on whether I want to keep going! It feels like it is SO drawn out, which was awesome for the first couple books, but I need some sort of conclusion or ANY conclusions to come from any one of the book endings. It feels like one plot line through the whole series instead of the same characters and different stories. Part of that likely comes from fighting one villain for the entire series. Idk, I love the characters, so, TBH, I’m going to finish it for them.

I'm obsessed & emotionally exhausted

I've been listening to these books every free minute I can over the last three weeks! They’re amazing, but I'm exhausted from the constant emotional roller coasters. If one good thing happens, then that equals a bad thing happening right after you finally thought you could exhale with relief. That being said, I do find myself laughing out loud from some of the characters and the situations. I really love Gabriel; one of the scenes in particular felt doomed but became incredibly light hearted from his wit and dependability- I will forever remember this scene! I also find myself loving Seth’s voice narrated- he’s like a dog turned human with so much energy and stream of consciousness. I used to hate him but now I love seeing the world through his eyes.

The character development is slowly coming along and it’s great to see them all working together against Lionel *yes*!

One misgiving that I can’t quite get over is the inconsistency of power. Specifically when Darcy can burn away the shadows in others and how overly powerful Clara is when she controls the shadows in them. It also seems like the Phoenix powers can trump anything when they need to, but then they have major deficits when the plot needs to progress . All those things feel a little inconsistent and either the power imbalances aren’t explained enough, or the rules of their world haven’t been set up enough by the authors in order to make sense all the time.

I love this series however, Darcy's "voice" is insanely whiny and breathy. Drives me crazy during her chapters. Love her character but the voice Bridget makes for her makes her seem weak, vulnerable, and kinda like a crybaby. Anyways, really good book and can't wait for the next two!

What the actual!

Writing is amazing, narration great.

This level of torture is unmatched! Why can the readers get a break and a win. Im addicted and must see this through but hopefully book 7 and 8 are the end of it and we get what we want. I am mentally and emotionally exhausted.

Great great writing the plot is going to be the death of me! Do read this book and book series! Be warned! Its a bumpy ride.

Love the narrators! Love the story! can't wait for them to finish the rest of the zodiac series'. Dying to finish the twists between series.

Just love love love ! The storyline is getting better and better. I’m in love with each character in this book!

This book was great, I loved fining out what would be next, but at the same time, I felt for everyone involved. they cannot catch a break. A must read if you have read the others.

Amazing series

Amazing series and amazing audible book and narrators. I believe I and many would wish this was put into a tab series it would probably make a best. seller with many many people watching.

If you're this far in Zodiac Academy then you really don't need me to tell you how amazing the writing is or how truly magnificent the narrators are in this book. Just keep going!
