loved loved loved

I listened in under 24hours and loved the ending and the narrator was spot on. highly recommended

Raini gets her HEA!

I loved this story. One review said it’s repetitive but I respectfully disagree. The premise is unique, the conflicts are too. It’s not formulaic at all.

I always enjoy the bits and pieces we get of Asher and the cameos of the other couples.

In this one, we get know more about Maddox and why he refused the anchor bond with Raini. I loved how their story evolved. Maddox is darker and makes no apologies for it. In a sense, he and Raini balance each other.

Cat Doucette’s narration is as always on point.

I can’t wait for more of this series.

Cute

The entire series is cute. But now, the voice of Rainy, the succubus is so cute it causes cavities. Sexy would have been better. But the plot was fun!

Loved it!

Raini made a deal with the devil, who happens to be her anchor, and she is living up to her part. In order to save one of her girls, she would do anything. However, when her life is in danger, she’ll have to team up with her anchor to eradicate the danger. Hopefully she will be able to defeat the danger without revealing her secret and losing her heart. Maddox is cruel and only runs with his own kind, but when someone targets his anchor, he will stop at nothing to keep her safe and keep the secrets of his kind from ever being let out. If only he can keep his heart from attaching to Raini’s..

Raini and Maddox were too cute. I wondered how Maddox was going to be written given his reputation in the previous books was a little dark, but somehow, Suzanne gave us a character that was dark, evil, and way too dangerous, and only made us love him more. Raini was so cute and unassuming that no one would have ever guessed how powerful she truly is..put her together with Maddox and his extraordinary abilities and you get one powerful couple who are both secretive and passionate.

The girls are present all through the book and I have to say Khloe cracks me the hell up. She is one crazy chick and I am here for it. You’ll be happy to know that Knox and Keenan made up so all is well in the world.

The only thing I didn’t like was the voices for the antagonists. I know it may be hard for a woman to sound like a man, but the scenes with the Halo guys were just painful to listen too.

You’ll laugh at Khloe’s antics, love Raini and her laid back/ killer personality and Maddox’s extreme calm while he battles for himself, his lair, and his woman. All in all, a wonderful book.

love Suzanne Wright, wish they would ditch Cat D

I have read and loved this series from the beginning and from the beginning I have hoped and prayed they would ditch Cat. She makes all the female characters sound wimpy and bitchy. this series NEEDS a dual performance with with male and female performers to give this story its due. I still recommend the book just read it through your kindle and not through audible.
