Landen and Ellie - so good!!

Landen and Ellie are absolute rockstars in this cowboy romance! The ending of the last book teased this one and let me tell you, it did NOT disappoint!

Landen has been into Ellie for years, ever since she started training at his families ranch. But Ellie has always been anti-Landen and he has never known why.

Here we are years later and Ellie has an accident and loses parts of her memory. Including everything related to Landen. So Landen finally gets his second shot, until her memories potentially come back and leave them in the same place they were.

I rooted so hard for Ellie and Landen! These two had so much chemistry, even when Ellie was doing everything to fight it. I loved how they were able to fall in love so easily after everything happens and get their HEA. Like it was always meant to be.

I finished to this audiobook and it was absolutely fantastic! Aaron Shedlock and Stella Hunter couldn’t have been better voices for these characters. I loved Stella’s narration and vulnerability and strong willed nature that is Ellie and I loved Aaron/Landen and all his flirty and dirty talk!

CANNOT wait for the next book in the series! This is one of my all time favorite series.

I really enjoyed this story! I loved watching these two come together. Ellie dislikes Landen and has for years. Everyone knows about it but no one knows the reason, Landen included. He likes her, she makes his heart skip a beat, and he has changed to get closer to Ellie and figure out why she disliked him or get to change her mind. Then Ellie gets a concussion and doesn't know who Landen is and why she disliked him. Landen likes Ellie and wants to take care of her but he doesn't want to take advantage of her memory loss and tells her that. He is upfront in the fact that she hated him for years but the reason is unknown. I enjoyed that the others around her and Landon didn't let her just go in blindly and let her know that she disliked him for an unknown reason but didn't push her away from getting to know him. They take things slow because of it so this one is definitely a slow burn but it fits situation and characters. Once they break some of that barrier though and decide to take the risk it is great watching them build their relationship and physical connection. I love how Landon would only go so far so fast and wouldn't let them just get lost in the moment and kept her wellbeing at the top of the list and also made sure she was taken care of. I love the banter between Ellie and Landen and how even though Ellie can be ugly with him, he isn't ugly back. I love how he handled himself and all the different situations and then how those actions spoke for themselves. It just adds to the banter and antics between them. I loved the development as Ellie and Landen go from enemies to friends to lovers. It is very well done and had me engaged from beginning to end. I absolutely adored these two and this story and can't wait for more!
The narrators did a phenomenal job with this story and these characters! The accents were spot on as well as the emotions and actions that were portrayed. It was so well done and really brought the story to life and had me even more engaged and enmeshed into the story! This was my first story with Stella Hunter as the female narrator and she knocked it out of the park. Aaron Shedlock is always fantastic and this was another one well done!

The angst between these was everything!!

I absolutely fell in love with this audiobook. The narrator did an amazing job portraying these characters and bringing them to life. This was my first time listening to Aaron Shedlock and Stella Hunter. And I can say now that I’m a huge fan. Landon stole my heart from the beginning. My heart broke for him and what he endured. I just wanted to climb through the book and give him a hug. Ellie was so sassy and fierce. She really gave Landon a run for his money. I really enjoyed their banter and intense chemistry. I love how close knit his family was. And how they immediately accepted Ellie into the fold. That ending was truly perfection. And I can’t wait to dive into the rest of the series to find out what happens with the twins and their love interest. This audiobook is definitely a must to listen to. Especially if you love cowboy romance. Brooke did not disappoint!!

MUCH Better Than The Last One . . . I Want A Landen In My Life! 😍😅

OMG, this is SO much better than Book 2!! SO much more “organized” than Book 2, if that makes any sense for a book! 😉 (Book 2 kinda felt “all over the place” at times, almost like it was lacking an editor . . . But THIS . . . WOW!! 😍 SO MUCH BETTER!! Like I said in the title, I WANT—no, NEED—a “Landen” in my life!! 😍😅 He’s SUCH a GENTLEMAN & a sweetheart!! 🥰🥰🥰 Because of Ellie’s (the MFC) memory loss (which I don’t consider much of a spoiler since this was in the little blurb about the book already), there wasn’t very many REALLY spicy 🌶️ scenes in the book itself (I counted 2 (or maybe 3, depending on your “spice level” 😉). But I actually like it more ‘cause Landen was really respectful & wanting to wait until Ellie got her memory back before they really have s*x . . . Like I said, a TRUE gentleman (with a “dirty mouth” 😉)!! 😍❤️ And if you “need” MORE s*xy scenes, be sure to get the free Bonus Scene available through the link at the end of the Kindle version; trust me, it is COMPLETELY free!! 😉😁 Anyway, I am looking forward to reading/listening to the next book in the series (even if we have to wait SO long to get the Audiobook to accompany it; that’s the only bad part about this particular author’s books . . . 🥺🙄). 👍🏻😊
