Through a bizarre turn of events, I end up cast as an elf in an upcoming epic fantasy film—even though my acting skills are mainly of the “fae for pay” online variety.

My co-star is the once-cute-teen-star, turned smokin’ hot, all grown up, wolf-shifter Kade Savage. He’s gentle, honorable, and he doesn’t care about my past mistakes.

All great, right? Well . . .there are a couple of teensy tiny roadblocks to my happily-ever-after. See, wolves don’t date non-wolves. It’s a thing. And, oh, yeah, he’s straight. Which is fine. I’m perfectly okay with it. My track record is so poor that I might as well be running backward. So, it’s a little crush. What’s the harm? But before long I catch him giving me big-bad-wolf eyes when he thinks I’m not looking. His low, growly voice makes my heart beat a little faster and sends tingles down my spine and on a one-way trip to my nether regions.

Just when the UST between us is about to erupt, we end up in a fantasy scene so real it would make Peter Jackson jealous. What in the Lord of the Rings alternate dimension is this?! We have to rely on each other—and a contrary magical coin—to show us that “home” isn’t a place so much as where the heart is.

So absolutely amazing

So creative and mysterious with amazing world building and incredible lovable characters! One of my favorite books and audios of the year. I just finished and want to listen again. I truly hope the author writes Rory's story as well I hate to see it end and need more. Also a fabulous job done by Michael in narrating this, absolutely magnificent and brilliant work.

Funny and entertaining

The synopsis gave a different vibe than what it ended up being, but I was pleasantly surprised. Smutty, cute, and funny. Really liked the side characters, especially Ali!

Michael Ferraiuolo is the best!

This was my first time reading this author and I really enjoyed it. Also, can’t complain about Michael Ferraiuolo doing the narration. My only complaint was that the ending felt slightly rushed, and the twist was slightly predictable.. but that honestly didn’t but me at all. It was an easy, low-angst read and I had a lot of fun with it!

Loved it!!

I really enjoyed listening to this story. The characters were amazing and the plot line was very entertaining.

Teremie & Kade

Teremie has had a bad time since his ex did him dirty, the only one that stood by him is his best friend Rory. They get parts in a movie and strange things start to happen, Teremie also finds a gold coin, Raven one side and Dragon on the other. Teremie meets his childhood crush Kade on the movie set. Kade is a wolf shifter and Teremie uses his fated mate. Teremie and Kade get to know each other and fall in love, all the while strange things continue to happen. They are explained in the end but I don’t want to give it away.

I loved the book! The audio was better than reading it because Michael did an excellent job.

Magical!

Meghan Maslow wrote a fabulous fairytale story where the human world is quite similar to the one we live in with a paranormal twist. Humans live side by side with werewolves and vampires.
A Hollywood film is being made on a forested peninsula and strange occurrences start happening to the cast and crew. That’s not a lot of story background lest I ruin the surprises Maslow has in store for the reader.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
And Michael Ferraiulo’s narration is perfect!

Fun but chaotic

This started off great. Funny, unique. Then there was this slow build to an ending that made no sense in the story. Like the book wants to suddenly turn into a fantasy epic but with zero world building. Lots of loose ends left, including a proper comeuppance for the bad guy. It’s fun enough to recommend but keep expectations low. Narrator was amazing. His English accent isn’t right but he is totally consistent with all the accents and voices and switching - he’s so so talented!

Voice Acting & Humor

Loved the voice acting and the humor interlaced with an excellent and engaging story. I would follow these characters in a series of books.

Intriguing storyline, character development and twists! Also, a wonderful HEA and the best narration! Bravo!
