Beautiful Pieces Part II

WOW....I thought Erik's Salvation was a beautiful love story, but this second book just layers on the deep love relationship between Erik and Hannah. They are two of the most beautifully broken characters I've ever read and, although I'm not a fan of great unrelenting angst, here it is almost necessary to illustrate the depth of these characters.

Again, Nyssa ends the book with a cliffhanger although it was a little more obvious than the one in the first book. It will be interesting to see how she wraps up the whole story in the final book of the trilogy which I'm greatly looking forward to reading and hearing. Narrators Stella Bloom and Teddy Hamilton (two of my favorites) take Nyssa's awesome story and make it awesome plus!

Exciting!

I loved the intensity of this book and the love gets even stronger between Erik and Hannah. Other characters come into play and the storyline gets more complex. Definitely looking forward to the next book since this ends in a cliffhanger

Beautiful vocal performances, suspenseful story...

Bloom's sweet and vulnerable Hannah and Hamilton's protective yet embattled Erik kept me on the edge of my seat, chewing on my proverbial paper cup.

Nyssa Kathryn's continued collaboration with Blue Nose Audio is a match made in heaven for my listening ears. I look forward to the conclusion of this trilogy and to a happily ever after for both Hannah and Erikin Book 3.

NOTE: In my opinion, the full enjoyment of this story can best be achieved by listening to /reading Book 1. I highly recommend it.

Too many bad guys after one person-Hannah. Also, the fact that Eric was “adamant” about not wanting kids was strange because he was convincing that he couldn’t live without hannah-Humm ……so he’d leave her for wanting a child!?

Heartwrenching story with a cliffhanger

I have to confess that normally I stay far, far away from cliffhangers, but since I absolutely love anything this talented author writes, I gave book 1 of this trilogy a try and loved it so much that I was anxiously awaiting this book. I have now read and listening to the story, and I have to say, that the audiobook definitely brings the story to life.
Hannah Jacobs and Erik Hunter are still together, but his secrets and distancing, are causing Hannah not only doubts , but also heartbreaks.
The more Hannah is determined to try and preserve their new life, the more Erik thinks that the best way to keep her safe is by staying away. Especially because when he confesses what he did, it could tear them apart.
When things seem to be moving in a positive manner, danger reappears in both their lives. Will they be able to once again mend what they have?
But what happens when Hannah gets an unexpected surprise? Will that be the end of their relationship since Erik is adamant about his determination in not giving up his beliefs?
This story is at times a heart wrenching to the point, that at times, the reader will be on the verge of tears for these two souls whose life has not been easy and truly need to find their HEA.
In the end , will they survive not only life, but the changes that the future could bring?
I can’t wait to read the next installment of this trilogy. One that I am certain this talented author will deliver making it one of her best work ever.

Oh my gezzz, I hate cliff hangers simply because I need the HEA for each book but we all know Nyssa Kathryn and she will give us just what we are looking for!

Most of Nyssa Kathryn’s books can be read as stand alone but this series should be read in order to get the entire story! No worries, you will not be disappointed as Hannah and Erik determine if they can open up and truly trust each other. Erik and Hannah find themselves wanting to protect the other and this keeps them from being open with so many secrets they each are harboring.

I need Erik’s Refuge now!!!

Perfectly paired narrators!

Nyssa is a “new to me” author, I found her because of Blue Nose Audio and it’s been a happy accident! I devoured Erik’s Salvation and Redemption in a day and a half both on audio.

I love a good grumpy, over protective, alpha male who is so caring, tender, thoughtful, and observant of the woman he loves and that’s exactly who Erik is. After he finds his reason in Hannah to live and not just exist anymore, he now has to also keep her alive when it seems like others are out to hurt her.

And I love when a woman who keeps finding herself in harm’s way, isn’t just a damsel but actually learns how to fight back and protect herself. Hannah had a rough time in her teenage years, so she’s no stranger to standing up for herself.

This book is super fast paced and there’s so much that happens! I’m so incredibly anxious to see what happens in the 3rd book!

The audiobook was so well done! I also get nervous for the audio when the book is written in 3rd person narrative, but it was broken up perfectly for the narrators and it being performed in DUET was even better!

Teddy Hamilton and Stella Bloom were AMAZING!! I very much enjoyed listening to the two of them and they paired well!

Erik's Redemption is book #2 in the Beautiful Pieces series. It does end in a dramatic cliffhanger, so get ready for book #3! The story picks up where book #1 ended. Erik is becoming distant from Hannah due to his past that involves her. Hannah can't figure out why Erik has closed himself off and won't open up to her like before. And, there is a stalker from Hannah's past with murderous intentions. We also get Hannah's BFFs from book #1 along with new ones to liven up the plot. Hannah suffers from Type 1 diabetes (as does my DH) and I completely relate to the issues with fluctuating levels and pump irritations! This book is as good, if not better, than the first book. I can't WAIT for book #3.

The narration was spectacular again. Narrators Teddy Hamilton and Stella Bloom return as Erik and Hannah. Ms. Bloom brings the vulnerable Hannah who is starting to put her big girl panties on! Mr. Hamilton never ceases to amaze me with his ability to turn from romcom hero to bada$$ protector. These two are a 5 star pair.

I said it once, I'll say it again... Teddy Hamilton and Stella Bloom are amazing and narrated this story brilliantly. They are two of my favorites and I'm so happy they came together on this project. Blue Nose Audio also put together this duet narration seamlessly and it was a fantastic listen.

Then we have the story, which seems to get more and more twisty and turny as we go on. I guessed the big cliffhanger to some extent, but the twist right before it blew me away, again. Nyssa is just throwing out the misdirections left and right and I'm falling for them time and time again. I'm loving the suspense though, it's perfect. Not too crazy, but keeping me on my toes for sure.

Erik is about to break mine and Hannah's heart though and I'm wondering how they're going to overcome this gigantic obstacle in their way... I really don't see it going down easy. I can't wait to see how their story plays out in the third (and final?) book. I'm hoping to see them and their friends get some hard fought HEAs.
